I have heard the same thing(s). Wasn't too many options for Maya and she is one of the only KB that is not just completely tanking during the bad economy. I guess she is smart enough to know, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
As far as a Business goes, I guess some of the individuals that participated in it becoming a strip club the first go around last month are making a move to pool their resources and buy Mimi out to have another go at the SC scene. Mama is looking for a new place to relocate Business. This was the better idea to begin with. It is a win win (or a lose lose depending on how it goes) for everyone. We get another SC and don't lose a KB.

She takes the girls from the local guys who are buying them drinks, and sends the girls into the rooms or the back booths for the korean guys. That's why it's so slow there, the service sucks. Mimi dosen't take care of the locals. I've seen it too many times when me and my friends are drinking and buying girls drinks, but soon after, they get called into the rooms never to come back again.
Went to business last night. I was surprised at the amount of customers in there. Not packed but not as dead as usual. No Lina or the viet/French girl from Cali. Not really much to stick around for so decided to switch venues. Mink is cute though IMO. Stopped at evergreen and wasn't attacked by old ladies so decided to park it there for a while. Noticed a k-girl with a smoking bod wearing a halter and denim mini skirt. I think her name is jasmine? Damn her legs and ass were killing me!! Maybe it was just the lack of attention or the smell in that place, but I couldn't stop watching her walk by. Anyone got the scoops on her? Search returned nothing. Anyways, also saw coco and sue and blah and blah. I think I'm going amping tonight.
Anyone been to Club Something lately? Been looking for a girl who used to work there. Not sure if she still does, as I haven't seen her in a bit. Think her name was Mimi. Korean, of course. About 5' 2", maybe 105 lbs, around mid 20's. Kind of big or rounder eyes with bags under them and she speaks good English.

Not only that, when the girls ask you to buy her a drink, and you buy her one, she is too cheap to even buy you a beer or drink.
With that business model, it's no wonder why she is losing business.

Yea, Mimi mama was going around bragging that she has a lot of room customers and that she could make a lot of money. I guess the owner bought into that. But guess what - mimi mama is just a legend in her own mind. She does not have money and has a big time gambling problem.

I'm with you brother, however, you have to understand it's all about money. When you buy the girl a drink mama makes $5. When the room customer buys a bottle, she makes a lot more. If it takes you 1 hr to buy 5 drinks, she can make the same in 15-30 min. It's up to the girl to come back often enough to keep you satisfied. Think of it as having a girl to sit by except saving money. If you're solo, then that sucks but just remember, it's all about the kala. When you spend more money.....you get the honey!!! If you want her all to yourself, go later and take her out after hours. Be prepared to spend some mean kala. Plus she may be feeling good and drunk by then. And if you're smooth enough, maybe get something.

Did you guys hear that Mimi mama is going to Splash after Business closes. Tamy mama is going to be a partner there. So she's bringing Mimi with her. Good luck! Guess I won't be going there that often.
Honestly don't care much about the business of Club Business, but if that's what cranks your clock, have at it. So.
This week it was off to Kalihi first. Stopped by Pisces, Green Tea, Chocolate.
Pisces: Dead but a good looking bartender (Aleesa?). She's nice, great singer, but, I think she has some boyfriend that she was on the phone with a long time outside (which kindah pissed me off as I was buying drinks for her). I figure is they answer their phones in English and bounce outside, well, you can pretty much figure it ain't a Korean on the other end.
Green Tea: Didn't stay long. Has the usual suspects.
Chocolate: MS introduced a couple of new girls. (Shoots forgot the names already) Nothing spectacular but at least younger than the others. I would guesstimate around 32 or so (one said her mother was my age).
Next night on to townside.
Maya's: My old friend Cindy is back from a brief trip to Cali so got tagged for a couple and moved on. She's the BMW girl. Been there many years. Late 40's (but looks a lot younger. Usually has bf's 10 years younger than her).
Hanabi's: Sat with a 40-something girl for a drink. (Short hair) I had no patience to warm her up so I moved on.
Camelot: Sat with LeeAnn (sp?). Been here a couple of months (or so she says). Told her I wasn't an automatic so she grabbed the stick and I shifted Fun Girl, not as striking as others but more my style.
Hilite of the week: Ichibans but that's for another thread.
Ok now you can go back to the mundane business talk. BTW who cares?

Had maybe 6 locals and the rest were Koreans. I wondered why we weren't getting any attention and now I know why!

Only thing the mama's don't realize is that when the economy tanks and the rooms are empty then it's the locals buying girls drinks that keep the bars in business. If you go to evergreen, you don't see the rooms as busy as before. You also don't see the girls busy either, miki mama alienated the locals so us locals don't spend a lot of money there either.
Business is going out of business anyway, was only a matter of time, Mimi couldn't bring in the quality girls and she couldn't keep a lot of regular customers.
