Looks like the cops leaned on him or the girl. One of them must have incriminated themselves which would have been stupid. Notice they said another person was questioned and released due to lack of evidence.

Takeaway is. Don't ever, ever, ever incriminate yourself. Regardless what happens, do not ever think the cops are your friends. Deny, say as little as possible, ask to speak to a lawyer.

As for me, I don't negotiate. I give the tip upfront. If cops ask. I paid for and got a massage. Period. The tip was for good service. Even the MT could not say the tip was "in exchange for extras" because I never negotiated. I really don't give a rats ass what people think the tip was for. Its not about what you know, its about what you can prove.

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, is slipping MMS $10-20 when you walk in going to get you the better available talent that day, just put you out $10-20, or would they take it as some kind of red flag thinking you were LEO?

In the same spot as I was when I last posted in late June trying to plan a visit to one of the places in the MP area for next week. Tempted to make the drive to Ivy based on recent reviews but not sure I'll have the time for the extra 20-25 minute drive each way.

As I've noted in some of my previous reports, with the exception of a trip to Sky a while ago where the MT was a stunner (but a weak massage) there hasn't really been a MT that has warranted being asked for or stood out in terms of distinguishing herself from the pack. All of them have been more or less the same. Solid with some different trade-offs but nothing to go crazy about on my trips to the more frequently discussed places.

I don't get out a ton (about every two months or so) but will be venturing out next week and am trying to figure out where to go. Do I stick with the status quo at Yun / Lux, make the trade off for a better looking MT at Sky at the expense of a weaker massage (but for me I don't mind this trade-off every once in a while), or drive the extra 20-25 minutes and see what the Lombard and Roselle area has to offer and try someplace new as there has been some encouraging reports in that area lately?? Decisions, decisions.

Someone posted on the subject about a year ago. He had a defined routine. He's call ahead for an appointment. Tip the MMS when he's get there. I suppose you could plan your time and tell the MMS, you could come back in a half hour if she recommended. That way, if there was a preferrred person, she could recommend that person. On follow-up visits make sure you call ahead and ask for her recommendations. Then tip her when you arrive. Eventually, you will have a rapport and the MMS get give you guidance as to which MT might be best for you. The other thing you can do is bring food. Fruit or nuts or other things to eat. They would really appreaciate your thoughtfulness. Some shops have kitchens. But other don't. So the girls can be starving. Offer some food BEFORE the massage to really catch them by surprise. You are, in essence, donating some of your time to their eating. That act of thoughtfulness and good kharma will pay you good dividends. Now the other piece of advice, is well, yes, make friends with the MMS. But also with the MT. Your question suggests that the MMS will pick the best person for you. I suggest you make sure you get to know individual people. Build a rapport. Have their names, Wechat, phones, etc. This way, when (not if) they go to another shop, two things happen. (1) You already can meet a person you know at another shop, (2) you will become a known customer at a new shop. All of this reduces the uncertainty for both you and the MT. Win / Win. Bob.

Let's say you did tip MMS and asked her to bring you the best girl available. She takes the money and assures you she's got just the girl for you. You go to your room and in comes your MT. Is she the best? How would you know? And better how? The nicest looking of all the girls at the spa? Matter of opinion of course. How about best performance? Is it possible that MMS knows which one gives the best BJ? Has she been watching the girl perform, or is she making a guess based on the smiles on the faces of customers as they leave?

Another thing, just how many MTs are there to chose from when you go to a spa that has a MMS? In my experience the most I have ever seen at one place if 4, even if the place has 6 to 8 rooms available.

And if MMS starts playing favorites and the other MTs find out? Trouble in paradise. Tip Mamasan for what, the best of two or three girls? Could be you'll get The Best in Show, considering some of the kennel club talent at these AMPs. Tips, food, gifts are courtesies and gestures of kindness. To people. People that provide services to you. Kindness and respect shown to these folks will make you stand out. Maybe better service maybe not but at the very least you will stand out. Be remembered. Maybe even liked more than usual. If none of that happens there is still nothing wrong with treating people nice with respect and kindness. What does it set you back? A whopping 10 bucks or a little more?

The last two times I've been to LUX there were 2 different MMS's, very nice ladies. The first one offered me food and a blanket while I waited for the MT. The second one was equally nice and just walked me to the room with her arm around me saying she would bring me a very nice girl. I got all this without giving the MMS any tip. I'm not sure but I would not be surprised if the mms gets part of the house fee. These 2 should get it if they don't.
Seeing how you are not able to get out very much I would recommend you try IVY in Lombard. The ladies are from LA and the last 2 I've seen were very nice. When I went there are 2 MMS there and they are both very friendly. When you leave they ask if your happy and if everything was good, all that with no tip to them. So there is no reason to tip the MMS. If you don't like who you get, ask for another lady and if there are none to your liking just leave. I've done that before and I have gotten a better girl and again all without tipping the mms.

Thanks for all the input, all valid points raised below and appreciate the replies. Guess if dropping a $20 would make a difference it would have been more frequently mentioned but figured this was the place to ask first before doing something. And realize that MMS can't just make someone magically appear, but by and large whenever there is a MT that's spoken highly of I always end up with one of her co-workers even if I request her in advance. Unfortunately I don't have many opportunities and while I did walk out of a place last time, sometimes I have a small window of when I can get a massage so I think I'm by and large stuck with the luck of the draw.

I paid like $6 but got a big bang for the buck, she was so appreciative of it and would not stop talking about how great a guy I was. The session quality was top notch. Chicken salad has another thing going for it, it is easy to share.

My last visit to Sky was prior to their brief closing and prior to that, my visits were every several months at best. I didn't go too often for many of the same reasons previously stated.

However, sometimes I was willing to pay much higher fees than normal simply because I sometimes reached a point where I wanted somebody new and I didn't want to take the chance of.

Getting an old ugly one, or risk getting shut out. So, I went back to Sky. First of all, the old tiny grandma mms seems to be gone. I called there a couple of times several days a part to see if they were busy etc. Not once did the old mms answer. I finally went in a couple of days ago. The talent may be a notch lower than prior to the close. It's still better than other places, but the women I saw were not quite as high on the food chain as before, but certainly not a disappointment. Usual routine you expect there. However, one pleasant surprise was there was no haggle. No mention of tip prior which I found refreshing since that rarely if ever happened before. Saw Nana. Nice girl, decent massage, looks above average, but not smokin' hot by any means. Thicker body, but decent rack. No complaints. I got my fill for now. No urge to rush back. Same as before. I'll go back in a few months if I get bored with my usual haunts.

However, HOW did you pull off the Chicken Salad thing? As in, were you already in the room, butt-naked-face-down on the table, then ran over to Subway in your towel and those awful way-too-small-Table-Shower Flipflops? Pretty sure I'd feel funny just showing up at their door with a bag of Subway food, hoping somebody's hungry. And it might make a funny food smell.....

MT was the typical late 30's early 40's with really small tits. I don't waste time on preliminaries. I just start taking her clothes off right away.

She was down with everything but kept upselling the price. I told her I would take care of her. I passed on the FS, which would have been avail. When I gave her the 60 tip afterwards she got very huffy and wanted 100.

Lux is like yedem or that m2 in wheeling. They have all become last resort places when you absolutely positively have to get something.

You guys are nuts. You don't tip a mamasan although one may do whatever they like. I have brought in hot chocolates to all the girls before. I do get Christmas presents and am generally treated pretty well but I am a pretty nice guy who isn't a pain in the ass. I think not being a pain goes just as far as any tip. I'm in customer service so I know.

I've been out of the loop this summer. It's a busy time of year for me, so no time for mongering. But I'll be back in play in the next few weeks. Just wondering if it's the same lackluster lineup.
