I was in Covington the other night and was at the red light on the side street next to the Walgreen's on Madison Ave. Cute blonde white girl in shorts and a grey hoodie crosses the street in front of me and looks in the front window. I thought about circling for the scoop but was too nervous and too uninformed on the rules to chance it. I was really kicking myself when I turned into the Walgreens parking lot and went in to make my purchase. Then I got a good dose of reality when I came back out and there was an occupied police cruiser parked right next to my car. I quit kicking my self and almost s*t myself thinking about the, what could have been. LOL!
I have said this before and I will say it again, I take my hat off to you guys. You have got BIG KAHUNA'S to do this on a regular basis and you have my utmost respect.
I am 99% sure she was legit, she was cute but not the TGTBT cute if you know what I mean and she was in transit. She wasn't just hanging on the street corner. I think she might have been a part timer or maybe a regular that wasn't hanging around due to the police presence.

You are correct I do not get to Covington or any of the other SW hot spots very often. This was just a happened to be in the area thing. I knew it was a hot spot from reading this thread. You may be right about the opportunistic aspect but she seemed well versered in the hobby. Very smooth and clear with her intentions. Even me as a SW novice picked it up easily.
Please forgive me if I am off base with this question but if Covington is such an easy pickings area why is there such a more intense focus on the Cincy hot spots? If LEO has such a strong presence there and Covington has them knocking on you window, why not just come to Covington and make the scoop there?

In actuality, I've never seen Covington have a lot of action at all. I've seen maybe a couple that were worthy over the years. Even said that, there still aren't that many out at all. I think you may have gotten lucky seeing this one.
I also want to touch the subject of the new cameras they are putting up in the city. You can find the story linked below. They have installed cameras in the city and OTR over 5 years ago, and are still up to this day. So why are they not using them? Money. The city lacks the funds to pay for the monitoring by LE. They have a little grant money to do it for awhile and then it goes bye bye. Right now they're active in East and West PH. Older cameras are in OTR. LE take a training course and can login via the internet.

Not frequenting the same streets / bus stops. I drove from Newport to I-75 last evening and saw two on my way through. I will also add that of the 15 or 20 that I would guess ply the streets of Covington, there have been only three or so that I would let in my car. Many just gross me out. At the beginning of September, I turned a corner and pulled into my parking spot in downtown Covington -- two that were sitting on a nearby bus stop bench came up to my car to ask me if I were lost. No, not lost but I'm not going to pick up at my office.
That makes total sense to me. Thanks for the information Jay. I am maybe in Covington once a week tops. The only activity I have ever noticed is my most recent experience and the time I seen Summer (Formerly Summer and Stacey) and her new girl walking down Pike street. I didn't stop but since I know her well had no problem picking her out on the street.
I do think I will make more of an effort to ride through the hot spots in the future just to get in touch with how things work. Just like a junkie LOL! Going back for another rush LOL!

Law enforcement is cracking down on drunken drivers this holiday weekend with at least three checkpoints in Hamilton County and one in Butler County.
One will be held Friday night, operated by the Cincinnati Police Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol. It will run from 8 pm to midnight on Central Parkway, near Marshall Avenue, along the border of Camp Washington and University Heights.
During the past couple weeks I dreamt of a few positive experiences. The first three weekends ago. I was cruising the normal routes and not seeing much out other than a few near the Imperial that I may have partaken in. However, I would never actually make a pick up near a busy intersection, and the ladies did not seem to want to leave the area. Therefore, I headed towards LPH, and did not see any on my first pass, but on my second pass I spotted 2 WSW. One I have never seen before, and circled around and went down a side street. She was so strung out that she walked right past me like she forgot why she came down the road. I figured it was for the best, and moved on. On approaching the next stop sign, the other WSW I saw was standing there and came up to my vehicle. She got in and we were off. Did the usual checks and found a nice place to park.
