Since this post has a mix bag of stuff, I thought I would post in the general section. First, I want to thank everyone who posts here. The information makes it easy for a visitor to find his way around. Almost like being at home.

No, seriously though, any children involved? Child support is mandated by the court and automatically enforced via CSEA and is based on current and future income(s). Is she out for blood or will this be quick and painless? If she has an attorney, hire one right away. If she doesn't have an attorney hire one right away! Also, contact your banks or institutions where both you and your spouse share accounts to see if you can begin opening separate ones. Your attorney can also advise you more on this.
