Now, let me go further to say that in doing a search on you I find it very interesting that you post similar repetitive dumbass questions on several boards in Indiana, Toledo, and Michegan as well as here in DC (all on the same day I might add which is even weirder) without any redeeming value or without bothering to read those boards first either. Then to top it all off, you either are 10 years old or trailer trash because you can't type, punctuate or spell as evidenced by the moderator's notes on your DC post as well as others. So...what the fuck is wrong with you? The way I read you is that you're a hanger onner that gets his jollies from reading about the exploits of others and lacks the balls to actually do anything yourself; ie. you're a pussy! So either get it together, read, and grow some balls or stay the fuck off this board.

I'm from way out of town. Come to DC infrequently. Tried the Downtown during my last trip. Thanks for the tips - Excellent! Saw Anna - supposedly recently arrived from LA. Very talented. I've had fun in CT and RI, but this was a far superior experience. Not rushed - I was there for almost 90 minutes.

I will be going through DC again in the near future and have seen other posts for the IHC and Supra. I have no idea where IHC is located. Is it worth a visit?

I went to Supra years ago. Not even sure if it was called Supra then, but it was in the same location. Pleasant experience but in comparasian to my resent Downtown experience it would lose hands down.

IMHO the DC amp's with minor variations offer very much equal service so therefore all of them are good with the differences being limited to the cleanliness and spaciousness of the showers and rooms and , of course, the girls themselves who change around fairly frequently. You really can't go too wrong in any of them so therefore, I don't see the point in changing places that much if you find one you like. Having said that, IHC is in a sort of weird location that I find offputting. I like CPHC, Supra and Downtown as well as Accu-Fitness

Well I just got back from my DC trip and I have to say I really enjoyed the AMP scene there. I was really impressed with the quality of gals there and the level of service. I went twice to Downtown and Supra each. Saw Sarah and Mimi at Supra. Both were great. Mimi was probably cuter and Sarah was a little softer but I had a great time with each. Yes, the girls rotate in and out of Downtown and the other places fairly quickly. Many of them move to other AMPS in the Northeast, in CT and elsewhere. I found one former Downtown girl working at the Happiness Spa in November 2003, and chances are that she's moved on as well. I am a fan of Mirage and despite the excellent reviews of Downtown and CPHC I was perfeectly happy as a regular. I decided in the snow yesterday to wander into CPHC. I may go back today.

Although at first glance the Mirage seems to be somewhat off the beaten path, in actuality it is quite close to both the old and the new convention centers, as well as the nearby hotels. To get a sense of where the Mirage is in relation to other downtown landmarks, I invite your attention to the map for the area around the Galley Place / Chinatown Metro Station:

On that map, locate the NPR. (Natl. Public Radio) building in the northwest corner. The Mirage is just north of the NPR building, at the edge of the map. As for the neighborhood, while is isn't as nice as, say, the neighborhood around the Downtown Spa, it's by no means dangerous. It's just that there isn't much pedestrian traffic at night. To me, that's actually a plus. I can handle being alone on the streets at night. It's when I have to run a gantlet of scary looking guys hanging out on the corner that I begin to get concerned. You won't be observed during your visit. The businesses to the east don't appear to be going concerns, and the large building to the west appears to be some type of studio space used during the day by artists. If you're traveling by car, you can park easily on the street. Or you can take advantage of a curb cut and park about 20 feet from the front door. As anybody who has ever tried to park elsewhere downtown can attest, finding a space is difficult. So I think the Mirage scores points for being easily accessible by auto.

To enter, you go up three or four steps and ring a lighted doorbell. The mamasan will buzz you in immediately and you'll be in a narrow hallway at the base of the stairs leading to the second floor. It's not lavish, but it's clean and you'll only be there for the 30 seconds it takes for the mamasan to greet you and introduce the girl. Even on my first visit, when I was a stranger to them, the mamasan did not ask quote any price or demand any payment. She just produced the girl and off we went. I suppose that if you look like you don't know what you're doing the mamasan might ask for the standard $60 session fee in advance. But that's never happened to me.

By coincidence, all three times I've gone to the Mirage in the past six months I've ended up with the same girl. (Mimi, about whom more later.) I've been very satisfied with Mimi, so I've never had occasion to ask to see somebody else. Nor have I had occasion to ask for a lineup, as is reportedly done at other DC spas. So I must report that the selection of girls available at the Mirage remains unclear. During one of my visits, I did see another girl scampering around and she looked pretty cute. So I think it's safe to say that there are at least two girls working on any given night. Are there more? Are they hot? Further investigation is needed.

Once you have a girl, you go up the stairs to the second floor where they have three session rooms at the front of the townhouse, overlooking K Street. During one of my visits I got a quick glance at what might be described as a VIP room on the third floor. It was quite large, and featured a built-in tub plus a more traditional bed. I've never been offered the use of the third floor room, but if it appeals you may wish to enquire. The second floor rooms at the Mirage are about twice as large as the rooms at other DC spas I've been to. But that's not saying much. During summer visits window shaker air conditioners keep them pleasantly cool. And in the winter radiator heat keeps them toasty warm. The furnishings and decor are similar to other Asian spas, except for the absence of a small portable stereo in the session rooms. Instead, they have a radio someplace tuned to the local oldies station and speakers out in the hall piping the music throughout the floor. In the middle of the second floor, they have a couple of table shower rooms and a small sauna. There is also a toilet if you need to take a last minute leak.

Not surprisingly, pricing is standard: $60 pays for one hour, and a tip of $100 results in the typical full service session. Unlike some other posters here, I don't think there is any significance to the manner in which the money changes hands. So my usual practice is to give the full $160 to the girl after we get back in the room after the table shower. At the Mirage, I've also forked over the cash before the table shower. It really doesn't matter how I pay, I know I'm going to get my money's worth. To my mind, the total absence of ridiculous bargaining or gamesmanship that's regrettably so common elsewhere in the commercial sex trade is what makes the Asian spas so great.

As I noted above, by the luck of the draw the only girl I've ever seen at the Mirage is Mimi. She is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with a very pretty face graced by fine features and a nice smile. Her hair is dark, and past her shoulders. But during the session she typically piles it up on top of her head using one of those spring-loaded clips - a look I really like. Mimi has a compact, solid body that's about five pounds short of looking a little heavy. But at her current weight, she's definitely got all the right curves in all the right places. The Mamasan has never discussed or demanded money, there are no questions about who you've seen before and they don't care if I see the other girl on duty or if I wander down the hall to the toilet unescorted. During my most recent session it was hot and stuffy in the room, so Mimi opened the door to admit some fresh air. Somehow, it just seemed natural to have her stroking my dick with the door open.

The one open issue is that we don't know much about the selection of girls. So we'll need further research by those gentlemen who like the thrill of seeing a fresh face. I think that with a little effort, we can include the Mirage in the list of spas about which we have assembled a fairly comprehensive picture of the girls available at any given time.
