Well, I took the long way to work today which is down Phillips. It started to rain while I was headed in. I did see one WSW out, but she was maybe a 3. Did not see Uncle Leo anywhere, but there was a very suspicous looking vehicle near the convience store.
Does anyone know if there is any to be had in the Mandarin area?

I'm new here so I thought I'd just pop in to say hey. I do and have spent a lot of time in the "bad side" of town. My normal hangouts are the McDuff St area bars. If you have too you probably know me already. I also spend a lot of time cruisin' the streets, because I work nights, and get a lot of time off. I'll try to post up the latest happenings from these areas, if the cops will just lighten up a bit so something CAN happen.

Hey Prowl,
Nothing in Mandarin to report that I know of. I heard rumers of some action on Sunbeam around the apartments but after several dry runs, I took the area off of my strolling area.
I also heard of possibilities around Cheers on San Jose. Can't say I've seen anything there either.

I usually drive down Sunbeam and have not seen anything, and the same goes with Cheers. I will keep looking and hopefully something will show up, and if it does I will let you all know.
I took another trip down Phillips this afternoon and found zero.
12th is closed.
(I hope someone proves me wrong on this one.) Although I did not visit the closed establishment, several others have confirmed this to me.
I was in Rico's the other day and the owner/bartender was all giddy about the news. Several of the girls from 12th were calling Rico's looking for work. One customer witnessed the last chairs and tables being carried away from 12th.
Oh well...those who have experienced 12th will have to keep those fond memories in their personal whack-a-dex for future use.
As for the streets, afternoon and evening cruising was fruitful for me this week. Great girl [Lisa] on McDuff/Post yesterday, and several were around McDuff late afternoon on Monday. Keep on looking.

Dr Know is correct. 12 th St is no more. It seems the owner (an older frail sickly fellow to begin with) was recently injured in an accident, and his son took over the business. He then closed it immediately for uncited reasons.
In a possibly related story, I found Ricochet closed at 11 pm tonight also. They have similiar heritage.
An early evening cruise thru Jax showed no street action on the Westside.

I have been cruising around the westside found a couple BL just starting in the business to feed the habit types out 103rd way they were at a payphone at convience store I dreamed I stopped went in for a drink smiled at them coming out they smiled back I asked if they needed a ride. 4 Jacksons for dual french lesson. If I had more time could have been a better dream.
Lane ave has had a couple WSW working a BSW lately. Look for them 5-10 pm then late 2-4 am around the parking lot across from the green gas station.
Mcduff St bars double prices.
Apparently reacting to the closing of 12 th st Pub, the owners of Jakes and Ponys have decided to capitalize on the glut of unemployed dancers and the new customers by raising dance prices. Jakes is now $20 per dance from any of your choice of Jacksonvilles finest Crackheads, Pony's raised their prices to $25 from a slightly more run down and darker group of dancers.
Both bars still have cute ass bartenders though, so I'll continue to drink $1 cokes and oogle to goods until the bars close down. Heh, heh, heh.

12th has become a bit of a legend around here. When you absolutely, positivly had to get some, you could count on 12th.
Rico's reveling in 12th's demise is also bad. In my business, competition is good. It raises the bar for everyone. If 12th is dead, the girls at Ricos will think they have a pot of gold. None of this is good for us...

I had to see it for my own eyes, yes when I went by yesterday late afternoon, 12th st was locked up tight. It will be interesting to see what they do with the bar.
While I was in the area, I decided to check out the Pony Pub to see if the talent was what it was my last two visits. Four dancers, 6-8 range. I was informed by one of them that they weren't allowed to do lap dances in the back anymore and had to do them in front of the bar. Of course I told her that that wouldn't work. So needless to say, the only thing consistant with most of these fun spots is that they are not consistant. Not a bad thing, sometimes makes the hunt interesting.
Only activitiy to report was over on Phillips. I saw the Asian SW and think she got picked up twice while I was in the area, but could not get eye contact with her while on a side street and with LE randomly buzzing by, was not going to do a pick-up on Phillips. Might be a challenging nut to crack if not a reg. of hers and she does not recognize you. I also saw the other two SW I saw last week. 5-6 range, keeping an eye on one SW while she is in your car is a job in itself, but two might be too distracting while doing the imaginary deed. Any comments on picking up two at a time?

Was that Asian SW thin and petite? There was one about 2 years ago that looked like she was BL. I think she was Filipino. She swore that she was 21. She hung around the convience store at the corner of Philips and Clinton. She was hanging around some old woman. There was another Asian girl walking around (don't know if she was SW). She looked Korean, with bigger build.

This one had a slightly bigger build, I would not say she was a spring chicken either, maybe 30ish. First saw her on University just south of Richards, zipped around and she was gone, then saw her again walking north on Phillips and last time I saw her was in front of the trailer park. It looked like she was looking down one of the roads, whipped around again and she was gone. I couldn't really tell you what nationality though. She did look fairly clean and neat, not of the chicken neck, crackhead variety. Not the same one you have seen?
The last asian I saw was in her early 20s and she was the Korean looking one I mentioned. PW will be really glad to hear about this.
PW will be all over that Asian stuff. He has a case of Yellow Fever BAD!
(I like the Latin and Asian varieties myself.)
Made a quick run up Phillips while doing an errand, spotted the SW pair I mentioned earlier on Richards again. I did notice they will split up which is encouraging. Not enough time to sample either one. No sign of the Asian SW at lunch though 4 -5ish might be the magical time.
