I was there around Midnight and didn't feel unsafe. Sure, I was the 100% minority, but there was no sense of having to watch my back. Not from the patrons, anyway. The girls will hustle you x3, so take the advice already given and negotiate before even taking a step towards the back.

It was a cool place. Most of the girls were quite affectionate and friendly. But Uncle did not see it that way and they kept getting pinched. I never personally even saw an illegal act. Makes me wonder how Jimmy's survives and whom they pay off.
I am speaking from ignorance. I know what CL is. I have even been there. I ask only because I respect my fellow mongers, since over the years this forum has been so good at providing me with information. Is CL worth it? All I ever see about it is guys that have tried it either being ripped off or the girls not bothering to show. Or at least a few times a month there is a story about a big bust somewhere from cops pulling CL stings. Like other mongers, I have been tempted. But it's like seeing an unfamiliar movie being panned by both critics and customers. I probably would not waste my money. In this case, it seems to me you either waste a lot time, lose a lot of money, or get busted. So is it worth it? Does anyone have positive experiences, such as the girl really does have fashion model looks with a large chest, and fucks like she has missed it for years.

That was a great place and I miss it. In fact, to me it was more like cheers bar. I could always go there, relax, get a couple of drinks, a few dances. Man I miss that place. I went to Jimmys just a couple of times. Now the place I go to is Black Cherri in Gary.

Only very, very occasionally these days. There are diamonds in that rough, but they are getting rarer and rarer now. The signal to noise ratio has gotten worse by an order of magnitude over the past 2 or 3 years. Honestly, I don't bother with it anymore. Opinions vary, this is mine.

It's been about a year since I've used CL, but I've been browsing the past couple of weeks and it looks about the same as it ever was. About the only consistent thing I've noticed about CL is the ever-present howling over how bad it's "gotten lately. " If the complaints are to be believed, the place would have flat-lined the better part of a decade ago. Perhaps the problem is expectations of a high return on little investment.
Clearly, whether it's worth it is subjective in this sense. There are a lot of parallels between CL and the street scene. You have to spend some time there getting a feel for the place. You should be able to spot the regulars, even though the turnover is fairly quick for the most part. You should get a feel for the types of ads that just. Don't. Feel. Right. For some reason. You need to do your homework on the provider's phone number.
I'll confess ignorance on the prevalence of LE busts. I know that concern for that is always prudent in the hobby, and I remember people getting hysterical about stings in the past. Off-hand, though, I don't remember any prolonged, in-depth stings being performed by any of the local LE agencies. I'm not an expert, but in my opinion the CL traffic rates pretty low on LE's radar. I would venture the opinion that the providers are probably more likely to be busted by an undercover 'john' than a hobbiest getting caught in an elaborate sting set-up. The CL traffic has much more in common with the pro-with-a-website type of provider than it does with the street scene, and the LE harassment of the pros is negligible. Nobody gets their panties in a knot as long as that stuff goes down behind closed doors and nobody makes a scene. Hell, the hotels probably [i]rely[/i] on this traffic. None of this is to say that care needn't be taken, or that you shouldn't trust your instincts, should they tell you something's up.
I did the street-prowling thing years ago--people back then were complaining how the pickings were slimmer than they had ever seen before, precisely as they are today, I note--I've done the massage parlors, and I've done the big league pros. Almost all of my favorites have been from CL. I can remember seeing over a dozen different providers from CL offhand, not a huge number I know, but I was never busted, upsold, or conned. The worst thing that happened to me was sloppy scheduling on the provider's part, so I wound up with her partner instead of waiting for her to finish up. I wound up going back and seeing the first one the next time, and damn, it was worth it.
All of these different hobby incarnations have their advantages and disadvantages, and probably their ups and downs as well. I never really enjoyed the mps, and the streets were too cyclical: my luck depended on the stretch I was cruising, the time of day, the day of the week, the time of year, all of that plus constant LE. The pros are good, but I think that CL has just enough of the feel of the streets to keep me interested. You're never entirely sure what you're going to get--not like the pros who have been reviewed to death and you feel like you know them before you even meet.
My two cents. God I love this place, I had actually forgotten about it until tonight. I guess I'm getting in the mood to TOFTT on CL.

Lots went on in the Squeeze Inn. Full-on lappers with lots of breast play, and the occasional thru-the-pants tug.

More often than not, I get what I want. In a little over a dozen CL transactions, I've only had a few hiccups.
My opinion is this: If you're looking for the screaming hot model-type of provider, you'd better get out the Visa Platinum. Those girls usually want $200-$300. Which is fine, but just isn't worth it for me. I also must say that I avoid the super-hot ones because Uncle LEO probably thinks using a hotter pic would get more guys in a sting.
