I stayed mid strip a few weeks ago and was really surprised how little talent I saw compared to other visits. I was in town for work and that somewhat dictated my schedule, and may have affected what I was seeing. I had to turn in by midnight or so each night and before that did see significant numbers of girls in the casinos on their phones appear to be on the way to elevator banks, but in four nights I saw very few working the floor and was only approached three times.
The first time was at around midnight walking across the courtyard in front of Caesars. I was approached by two relatively rough looking BCGs, I turned them down as neither really appeal to me.

All in all, they are out there but not in quite the numbers or quality that I've seen on other visits.

I stopped into Sapphire and Rhino for an hour each during my trip. There were dimes everywhere. None of them wanted to come to my room for under a grand.
When I go to Vegas, I don't stay at Wynn or Bellagio. I'm in the Mirage, NYNY budget. Some guys stay at the 4 Queens, some guys stay at the Motel 6. These days it's harder to find the budget hotties. Just like it's harder to find low cost dining. Used to be able to get deals everywhere, now you have to go off strip.
