It isn't 100% for sure because in 20+ years of mongering I've had precisely one STD. The test came back negative for gonorrhea but the symptoms were consistent and a course of antibiotics took care of it. I am not recommending this technique, just reporting my experience. If you do find yourself having unprotected sex, lets just say taking a leak afterwards doesn't hurt your odds of catching something you don't want to bring home. I'm not sure how much it helps but it seems to.
