Earlier in the week I posted my opinion about sending a personal pic to 'unknown' providers. Repeating that word 'unknown'. My post was by no means an attempt to slam anyone or to fuel the fire of an already ongoing 'discussion' concerning SM. I'm sure she's a fine individual and I in no way wish her harm. It's a simple choice made that has nothing to do with wanting to start a flame war. She wants a pic and that's her choice. I prefer not to send pics out and that's my choice. It is an impasse bur not one based on argumentative differences.

"I offered 4 variables why an unknown provider would ask for a photo. Each person can ask for pics as they see fit. Each other person can say no thank you. I'm one who rather say no thank you. The risk is not worth the 'potential' troubles."

There are plenty key words to pick up on. 'Potential' has nothing to do with blackmails or espionage. I'm a former Houstonian that used to have an account with ****. Things happened in Houston that I'd never hope to see happen again. And that was a well organized LE bust on hobbyists and providers alike.

This happened back in March, but I just want to post it, hopefully it will someone to avoid falling for the trap. By the way I have mongered for about 14 years, have been pulled over twice with a girl in the car, but it was for reckless driving once (in NJ and they gave me a ticket) , and the other time the cop wanted to know what I was doing in the area, I gave him my DL, he never issued any tickets, let me go.

I got popped, taken to a police van off-site. There were other guys popped earlier. For the locals they got a citation to appear in court, get tested for STD and HIV, and their cars were impounded. Me, being out of town, I was locked up at 201 poplar, stayed there two nights, Monday plead guilty for Solicitation of a cop, penalty was time served. Then had to still go to clinic for STD test, pay cort cost (400). The car is a different case, you have to pay 250 to file a claim for it, and go to court, afew months later after your case has been resolved, and may still need to pay a fine to get it back, a lawyer told me he would charge me 500 to get the car plus court costs.

Now the longer version is as follows; I was cruising Jackson, and as I came to the Mapco just next to Orchi, I see this Asian girl, I did not stop right away, I drove to the next street, and looped over to Orchi st, then approached the Mapco. To be fair, there were lots of cars at the Mapco, lots of people, it was about 5pm. At first the girl seemed to ignore me, she was walking from the street junction upto where the gas station ends, and the motel next door starts, In hind sight I should have watched her longer but my greed on seeing the asian was too great. Anway she finally approaches my window, asks me whats up, I said not much, she asks me what am I looking for, I asked her what she had to offer, she tells me BJ or FS, I said FS was ok, she asked what I had to spend, I asked what does she charges she quotes 40 I told her cool.

Now at this point, she tells me to drive over to room 108 next door, While getting there I noticed she did not follow, but I kept going, as soon as I pull up, even before I park, this white Dodge Charger, unmarked but looks cop-like with the push bars upfront, blocks my car, and two cops, a white guy and a black woman both wearing flack jackets come out, open my door, and tell me to come out hands in the air. One searches and cuffs me, tells me they got me for solicitation, while the other one gets into my car and drives off. They took me to a tactical police truck (looks like a UPS truck) they had parked about a mile down the street behind Save-a lot at the Gateway strip-mall.

In the truck were two other guys, they cuffed us to the truck, chain to the foot, then they started writing the citations, vehicle seizure papers, and STD test paperwork. At this point more guys were brought in, in total we were 13, two caucasians, three blacks and eight Mexicans. Some guys wre pleading, saying sorry they didn't know, but this was falling on deaf ears. The cops in the van had T-shirts with MPD and Organized Crime Unit stencilled on them, this gives them the authority to seize property. While sitting there, I heard the one side of conversation from the decy to the comm guy in the truck, she would call his phone, then he picks up and start writting, at times he would verify " did you say Blue Honda, tenn plates 34*" and then he continues writting, time for the takedown, he would go on radio, call out exact deatils like Hispanic driver in red Ford Focus plates, so they had their game down to a timing.

Some guys said all they did was nod their head to agree, but unless you are in court with a good lawyer you cannot beat this guys. Anyway about 8PM they gave all the local guys citations to appear in court late April, then let them go, as for me, because I was out of town, they told me no way They could guarantee that I will be in court, so they arrested me. I was taken to 201 Poplar, printed and booked. After talking with a few people there, I realized there were two ways to play this, rich method or poor method.

Rich method is post bail, go to court Monday, get a lawyer and choose to pay 1, 000 fine, or plead not guilty push for trial which may be in another month or so. Poor way was to stay locked up, go to the judge on Monday get a PD, plead guilty, get sentenced for time served, and get out. I opted for the second one, although I still have to pay court costs (400) for which they gave me a payment plan over six months.

As for the car, I had to see the the in charge of forfeiture to get it back. That is a separate case, takes a minimum 6 weeks for the to resolve your case, then you get the documents in the mail to fight for your car, given that mine was 14 year old car, street value about 1500, I let it go.

By the way in jail, my cell-mate was an older guy, arrested for driving on a suspended license, the suspension was due to unpaid 140 dollars from a previous hearing, sounded to me kind of punitive, but I guess that's Tennessee Justice for you.

Lesson learned for me, never talk to SW from my window, if she is hot enough for me to pull over, then just open the door, and let her in, drive off, and talk along the way.

LM[/QUOTE]Thanks for the post. This is the most detailed post that I have seen on the city's sting process and legal process. Obviously, nothing is foolproof if very experienced (10-20 years) guys are still able to be busted. I know that you are aware that you made mistakes but it still warrants pointing things out for everyone's benefit. First, you never discuss any services or prices through the window. You are just offering "a ride". That's it. If they won't get in or want to get you to talk money or service before even entering the car, that is a huge warning sign and you should drive off. Get the girl in the car without talking price or service and then drive out of the area. Once you have her out of the area and feel comfortable that you aren't being followed and that it isn't a sting, then you can start the discussion. Of course, MPD has been even more aggressive than that, as that story from a month or two back shows. I believe it dealt with a guy who had picked up a legit SW on Summer and taken her to the motel directly on Summer. Vice had apparently seen the pickup and apparently waited until they were in the room at the motel to drop in on them, separate them and begin the interrogation. I don't know of any good way to protect against an aggressive tactic like that other than being aware of your surroundings and check thoroughly for LE before making a pickup.

On that note, that is the next rule: know your surroundings and check the situation out in that area before approaching the SW. The motel on Jackson is literally right by that gas station at Jackson / Orchi, so a pass down Jackson before the approach could have revealed any suspicious activity in the motel parking lot. That motel is tiny and wide open to the street, so you can see the entire lot from the street when driving by.

Besides negotiating through the window, the next big warning sign was her directing you to a specific place (motel and room #). That is a common bust tactic and, even when picking up a legit SW, it still isn't advised to go where she tells you to go for a number of reasons (robbery, etc).

I would have also been really suspicious about an Asian SW on Jackson in the Nutbush area. There are plenty of guys that know that area of the city better than me but I have never seen an Asian SW in Nutbush or heard a report about one. So, I would have been skeptical since she didn't fit the usual profile.

Anyway, I don't mean to poke holes in you by pointing out the things you did wrong but you made a very good post and I think it was a good time to analyze what went wrong and to remind people of the rules for picking up an SW.

That was the reason the cop said he was letting me go. My friend, a stripper from NYNY named Carmen got taken downtown. She had priors for not only prostitution but a bunch of tix. That taught me to stay my ass of the streets. Back then I carried my 007 Special (Walther PPK) under the seat or in the tire jack well. My Black & Mild box sometimes had something a little stronger in it. A search that night would have cost me everything. Now I refuse to EVER transport any provider anywhere. It aint worth it.

Another note to all: the unmarked cars come in all shapes, makes and models now. Most of MPD may be still run Chargers but the County Mounties are getting VERY creative. I have seen a Maxima, and Infiniti SUV, several Ford trucks and SUVs. And I am sure they continue to add to their fleet from the local drug addicts they bust.

I stick to the ladies I know. And if I don't know them, I get a reference or check for verifiable reviews. Thanks for this and other similar boards.

One searches and cuffs me, tells me they got me for solicitation, while the other one gets into my car and drives off. They took me to a tactical police truck (looks like a UPS truck) they had parked about a mile down the street behind Save-a lot at the Gateway strip-mall.

In the truck were two other guys, they cuffed us to the truck, chain to the foot, then they started writing the citations, vehicle seizure papers, and STD test paperwork. At this point more guys were brought in, in total we were 13, two caucasians, three blacks and eight Mexicans. Some guys wre pleading, saying sorry they didn't know, but this was falling on deaf ears. The cops in the van had T-shirts with MPD and Organized Crime Unit stencilled on them, this gives them the authority to seize property. While sitting there, I heard the one side of conversation from the decy to the comm guy in the truck, she would call his phone, then he picks up and start writting, at times he would verify " did you say Blue Honda, tenn plates 34*" and then he continues writting, time for the takedown, he would go on radio, call out exact deatils like Hispanic driver in red Ford Focus plates, so they had their game down to a timing.

Some guys said all they did was nod their head to agree, but unless you are in court with a good lawyer you cannot beat this guys. Anyway about 8PM they gave all the local guys citations to appear in court late April, then let them go, as for me, because I was out of town, they told me no way They could guarantee that I will be in court, so they arrested me. I was taken to 201 Poplar, printed and booked. After talking with a few people there, I realized there were two ways to play this, rich method or poor method.

Rich method is post bail, go to court Monday, get a lawyer and choose to pay 1, 000 fine, or plead not guilty push for trial which may be in another month or so. Poor way was to stay locked up, go to the judge on Monday get a PD, plead guilty, get sentenced for time served, and get out. I opted for the second one, although I still have to pay court costs (400) for which they gave me a payment plan over six months.

As for the car, I had to see the the in charge of forfeiture to get it back. That is a separate case, takes a minimum 6 weeks for the to resolve your case, then you get the documents in the mail to fight for your car, given that mine was 14 year old car, street value about 1500, I let it go.

By the way in jail, my cell-mate was an older guy, arrested for driving on a suspended license, the suspension was due to unpaid 140 dollars from a previous hearing, sounded to me kind of punitive, but I guess that's Tennessee Justice for you.

Lesson learned for me, never talk to SW from my window, if she is hot enough for me to pull over, then just open the door, and let her in, drive off, and talk along the way.

Two very attractive black females approached me while I was pumping gas and got me to agree to meet them at a motel off of airways. I got in my car and made it to the NYNY when I got pulled over by a marked car. They put me in the car and a female officer drove my car following us to a police van behind some buildings. I got a pink citation to appear at 201 for processing and then for a courtdate. At that time they were not impounding vehilces thank god. I had to plead guilty and get an hiv test from my doctor prior to court to receive diversion. I had to report to a probation officer at probations works in the industrial complex behind NYNY. It was very embarassing and it is not worth even taking the chance as it is worse out there now than it was back then. I paid 200 for the probation service and 500 to anattorney and court costs and at the end of diversion I had to pay 150 to have my record exsponged. That was way to expensive and they did not take my car or it would have been worse.
