I am surprised to see this back and fourth so much, she doesn't seem to have a very good rep as a provider. There are similar reviews all over the forum and I never have seen anyone respond stating it was risky to state. What is different about this one? This would make more sense if this were being defended about one of the really good providers, but this one consistently has sub par reviews.

This forum isn't a vocabulary and dictionary discussion group, but: There is a real difference between providing only half of services offered and "cash and dash" (accepting payment and / or gratuity and then leaving without provision of services or goods), or threatening or using a weapon, or introducing a third party or parties into the scene for uninvited intervention and / or intimidation. Or pickpocketing (in this context, surreptitious robbery of client without their knowledge). And so on. The first situation (getting less than expected) is a poor experience, but not dangerous or outright fraud. I think detail is important for people to make their own best decisions based on best available information.

Everyone on this board is interested in the positive, recommendations, with greater detail providing greater insight. And also the negative, warnings of bad experiences, and here too, the greater the detail, the more useful.

Accusing a provider of being a "thief" — in this case, one with many mixed reviews but also a long history of being active in the Roanoke area — is indeed a bold statement if provided without at least some details. Because client experience is a spectrum — from great to ok to poor, oftentimes it is dependent on expectations, on YMMV, and many other variables. So to ask for more details is totally legitimate.

In my own case I have never seen Jess and my interactions were only to reach out to her once and she didn't get back to me until the next day after my window had closed, which seems par with many reports of poor communication and / or ghosting. But there's nothing I've read in all the many posts about her that wouldn't encourage me to try again at some point, with my expectations on level with the reports. If there's anything that suggests otherwise, we should really know some more details. Thank you all!

There are quite a few of us who felt like we'd been stolen from after a visit to Jess. Thieving was the next logical step in her game of crimes.
