So I decided to give SA one more try after a few months hiatus. As before, 90% plus of my messages don't even get read or responded to. Anyway, after a week or so, yesterday I did get one bite. She sounded friendly and sent me her # and asked me to text her. I was too busy yesterday, so today I logged in and to my surprise, the whole conversation thread and her profile are gone. I figure either she blocked me or her profile got deleted, by her or by SA (does anyone know how to tell which?) . So now I don't even have her digits. Either way, in my opinion it's not cool for SA to be deleting messages from your Inbox, unless it's a case of stalking or blackmail or some other serious shyt.

Not sure but this says profile info is gone. To keep messages the profile name would have to show up in your message box the way the deactivated profiles do. If everything is gone as he says then the site doesn't no for sure. I went back 1 year of messages and found plenty of deactivated profiles but nothing showing up as deleted. I never delete a message so everything I've sent a is on the site.

I'd be surprised if a true lesbian on an SD site would even admit they are a true lesbian / have a strong preference for women, because it implies they are only in it for the cash or some other purpose that the SD would not approve of. As far as my personal experiences, lots of girls that are "bi curious" (I. E. Get a few drinks down them and anything is possible), but I always get better sex and an overall superior experience from the ones who are mostly straight. I've written about it before, but the one and only time I had a M&G turn into a GPS situation (where she wanted to make a deal before going to the FC), it turned out she was lesbian. I don't know whether she was full-on gay, or just bisexual with a very strong preference for women, but at the time it happened I was mystified. I can literally look up girls I knew in high school on FB, who back in the day shot down my advances for reasons I never did understand. Yep, openly gay with a same sex domestic partner. Explains a lot.

This doesn't apply to bi girls that swing toward men, and I'm not suggesting all lesbians are to be avoided. But if she shows signs of being in a relationship with a girl, or a preference for women, or just seems to be very sexually open with an unusual amount of hot female friends that make sexual jokes an innuendos on social media, I would lower my expectations about the type of SB she can be. Theres a good chance she's only in it for cash.

Also I'm not sure how much of my experiences are a reflection of personal chemistry. Girls who appreciate men seem to like me. Girls who prefer women seem to be on a different page. It may not be the same for everyone, especially if you've already established a true cash-for-pussy arrangement.

In an earlier post I called it a "preference" for women that some bi girls have, that make them less than ideal SBs. Maybe its not a preference as much as just that they relate better to women. If they say "they have better luck" with women, its a classic sign of this. When the girls of that ilk enter the bowl, they usually have their GFs full support and knowledge of their side activities. Their GF supports what they are doing and is probably in the bowl as well. This means they aren't looking to fill any sort of emotional vacancy in their life, they just need the cash, basically UTR girls.

At least when I meet an SB that has a BF, the BF usually is not aware what they are doing. The SB is usually cheating because something more than just money is missing from her life. Not getting enough attention from him, or she wants a bit of danger / adventure, thinks he's screwing around on her so she might as well do same, or just needs to shake up the routine.

R[/QUOTE]All of these girls know that men find the idea girl on girl sex hot, so they know it's better marketing for them to express subtle interest in girls, real or fake, and web profiles make that easy -- they are more likely to add men and women to their profile just because it makes better bait for the hook, even if that's not really their intention.

But I think the angle you mentioned is also correct. Some of the newer / younger girls are thinking of the "companionship" angle, and thinking of the possibility of an older lady that can help them in life, so they leave that door open even if they have no intention of sex with women. Maybe they come around and become SBs eventually, or maybe some of them leave the site not to return once they get enough creepy msgs with direct offers of sex for money.

Girls won't be the only ones targeted as the ratio of guys to women are greater. There are more guys who's first message is How much? JZLizard has I think the best analysis of why these girls threaten the bowl. I'd recommend reporting them to SA when you see the profiles, and especially when you message w / someone who blatantly offers sex for $. True, it could be a whack-a-mole exercise, but what's the alternative? We also need to take care in how we behave ourselves, and encourage other guys who post on these sugar threads to think a little deeper before they treat SA girls like BP girls. If escorts can't find johns on SA, they won't be on it and then we preserve our special lifestyle.

I don't have any statistical data on it, only from other local brothers doing car dates with the same girls I am investing in a hotel room for and then also from SBs I have been seeing. If you are observant you can watch a girls profile age get much younger as time goes on. I've seen one go from 43 to 28. Misleading pics are part of the game for both sides.

Great topic.

Non-representative photos, for me, have always been one of the the biggest challenge of the bowl and on-line dating in general. I learned the hard way in civy dating on line that most girls over-sell themselves when it comes to pics. They take hundreds, if not thousands, of pics of themselves, then select the 1% of those that they like, often ones that just barely resemble them. It's gotten worse these days with phones and apps that have filters that make it easy to modify and add flatter to pics.

Some warning signs I look for are:

1 - Few pics of her body (or none at all). When a girl has a nice body, she enjoys showing it off, in various outfits / bikinis / underwear etc.

2 - Outdated photos. I try to figure out when the pic was taken, sometimes you can tell from the photo itself but not always. Some conversation can go a long way with this, like if she sends a pic with her in a bikini, I might ask where (not when) was it taken, and if she mentions a vacation spot I might use that to lead in to talking about that particular trip and figure out how long ago she was there. If you're dealing with true SBs, it often works to your advantage to show some tact instead of just asking directly "how recent are those pics? Depends on the girl of course.

3 - Strategic angles. If they always hold the camera above themselves they're probably trying to downplay chubbiness. Same if they only show pics from the side, it helps hide saddlebags / big ass syndrome, Kardashian-like "centaur" bodies, and more. Also be cautious when all or most of the pics are from THE SAME angle, that's a big red flag, it means she's found one particular way of holding the cam or whatever that works to her advantage. You don't want to see her from only one angle when you meet.

4 - They say something that indicates a change since the photos, for example "those pics are from before I gave birth but my face still looks the same". Run like hell or demand recent photos.

5 - Only modeling or professional photos. First there is a risk she's cat fishing although I have not had much problem with this in the bowl, but the larger problem is that you don't want to make decisions based on photos that were taken by someone who is a professional at making women look better than they really do.

The one excellent tool we have at our disposal that did not exist in the early days of on-line dating is Facebook. Try to find them there, because they are more likely to post realistic photos there that look like the person their family and friends know them as. Warning, it can be a wake-up call that results in losing your interest about a lot of POTS, but it can save you a lot of time when it works. Also try to find their close friends and family and look at their photo albums, because they often post pics of the girl in more realistic situations than when she is marketing herself to SDs.

If I find a larger lady that truly has an hour glass shape I'll give her a try. I'm amazed at what some women's definition of curvy and average is though. If she only has a close-up shot in her profile, but has a thin face and fingers I'll move forward. Fat fingers means a fat girl though, LOL.

They seem to be the ones hoping for something real, something with emotional strings attached. That's not a good thing if NSA is important to the SD as it is to me, but it could be a good sign for some depending on what they want out of the bowl. It's sort of like a gesture that she wants to be perceived as an open book, letting you into her life a bit, like she might want you to meet them one day! Yikes.

If all or most pics involve the duck face (which by itself is cringeworthy enough), she may be hiding an ugly smile, screwy teeth, or just a weird looking lower face in general. This is rarer than the other red flags, but I've encountered a couple of these, and my fears were confirmed by looking them up on FB.

In one example I remember, the girl was maybe an 8 to 8. 5 based on all the duck face photos, body was excellent, attitude and personality were what I want. But when I saw a photo posted by one of her friends, it became clear why none of her SA profile photos and most of her own FB photos selectively filtered out the pics taken when she was smiling.

For evaluating faces, I can actually tell more about their overall sex appeal by looking from the nose down to the lower neck than by looking at the upper part of their face (in other words pics with sunglasses or blurred out eyes usually tell me more than duck face photos).

I would broadly say that any woman I see on the street, in a shopping mall, etc. I now think of like that. I have been in the bowl for the last three years and have been amazed by the new vistas it opens up. I'm at a bit of a loss in figuring out how to approach girls and also which ones to approach. That leads me to the next thing, which is how to make it clear (or at least clear enough) that I am offering more than just a free meal if the night goes well.

Anyway, it seems that finding a Road Baby presents some different challenges from finding one close to home. If anyone has any advice, I would love to hear it.

I felt there was no alternative to using my real identity to getting the membership on this search site, but I did pay using a reloadable pre-paid debit card, so there's very little paper trail.

If anyone has any advice, I would love to hear it.[/QUOTE]I was hoping to be able to contribute something useful, since I'm strictly a traveling SD, don't play close to home, so what you described you want to do in your first paragraph is exactly what I do (well, sometimes the date involves more than dinner but that's not a requirement. Sometimes its no dinner, a couple of drinks at the hotel bar, then off to the FC). However the more I read the more I think I don't fully understand your question.

It seems like you normally play close to home, but do so in a way that gives you peace of mind that you won't get caught. You'd like to date SBs in a city you visit regularly with the SO, so you want the same peace of mind. I'm not clear on what would be any different? Whatever is preventing you from getting caught in your home city would probably be even more effective toward same in a city that you only occasionally visit, so I would just do the same thing but make it clear to the SB that your availability is dependent on your visits to that city. Everything else stays the same. Just don't take the wife to a restaurant where she waits tables or whatever.

Or did I misunderstand the question?
