- The sender kept copy-pasting my phone number into each text they sent.
- The sender's phone number doesn't show in my text or call history.
- The sender asked off the bat what "services" I'd be interested in, and then sent a link to an ad for a girl I've never seen before (TGTBT).
Spit-balling here, but I don't think it's so much trying to get me in a sting, but get me to post the ad so they associate my username with my phone number.

If you don't know who it is or can't verify it or how they got your info to contact you then you absolutely must either ignore and delete or proceed with extreme caution. Mostly ignore and delete. Remember the cat and curiousity.

But to be fair, I suspect that some of the ads we respond to are simply means of gathering numbers for these types of scams. Whether it's blackmail or some sort of hookup I'd scam, who knows.
