I disagree, speculation does add to the community. We speculate everyday, when we have to make a decision but don't have enough information. That is especilly true in this hobby, we want to see a new sp and hardly have enough info to pull the trigger.
When I share my speculation on a sp, another member may see how I view / think and it may help them with their speculation. Maybe not for a very seasoned and senior member like you, but I have often learnt from seeing how others think or the thought process they use.
