One of my first experiences in the Bowl was with a baby who, after our initial m&g, emailed me saying she knew my real name, address etc, and would out me to my wife if I didn't send her $1000 via Western Union. After a mild stroke, I realized that she was probably bluffing, and calmly informed her that while cheating on one's wife might be a bad thing, as yet it was not a crime. Blackmail, however, was very much one, and doing it over the internet made it wire fraud as well, which got the Feds involved. If she wanted to do time in a federal penitentiary, she should let me know and I'd be happy to call the FBI, who would discover HER real name and identity with ease.
Needless to say, that was the end of that. I have no idea if anything I said was true, but it might be helpful nonetheless in your situation. Some of these babies are not the brightest fish in the pond.

Further, there would be no benefit to her for ratting me out, and I had already put in her mind the thought that the blowback might bring her unwanted attention from the FBI.

Or that could have been posted by someone else? That would be my first guess. Impersonating your wife at the front desk requires a bit of calculated sange-froide that I doubt many babies have.
Image-googling a picture, however, is the work of a few clicks, and I'm pretty sure I could teach my cat how to do it in an hour or so. Did you call or text her from a phone number that could be googled? Did you leave her alone in your car long enough for her to look at the service receipts in your glove box? There has to be a simpler explanation that you have overlooked.
I'd be astonished if she went from asking for help to actually threatening you with blackmail, but keep the FBI in your back pocket, so to speak, just in case. I first posted back in January thanking the board for info that lead me to creating an SA account which quickly generated plenty of POTS. As for pics, they were selfies shot for that sppecific purpose. Yes there were pics on my profile but all were private selfies only that were there and only there.
What really freaks me out is that after I refused to help her get her car back from being repossessed, she starts with texting me my real name. For instance in caps, SCOTT FITZGERALD. Similarly, simply complying with the demands can often lead to further demands or even having the blackmailer carry out the coercive threat simply out of spite once you have complied.

However, I did figure if I was going to go out, I was going to go out in a blaze of glory.

The other 2 for location, last logon, etc cannot be changed. So anyone that you are messaging can still see you are using it by clicking on your pic in their message box.

I did try a phone call w / one who seemed like we would really be a good match, but even a few minutes were painful. She blocked me later that day. No harm no foul, it wasn't going to work anyway. I do have up to 10 real serious prospects at this point, aged 20-38. Some could be a little UTR (and good backups in case one of my real targets flakes) but they haven't asked for specific sugar yet. I personally try to spell out exactly what I'm looking for. With this type profile you get only the girls with the same interests or the working girls. Then you have to weed them out. Your age also plays apart depending on what your looking for. I have been on a sd site since 2010 or 09 I forget and in that time I have had 2 SB's actually mention my income or net worth. Both stated they made as much or more than me so how could I be a sd. Most girls never look at your financial status. All they care about is can you meet whatever arrangements you figure out. With that being said don't go overboard with what your worth then try and negotiate girls down. If your posing as a sd with money it makes you look pretty cheap trying to get a discount. I WOULD NOT under any circumstances use a personal or work laptop for this. Microsoft is as bad or worse than Google now in tracking users. Deleting all traces of the new account will be difficult.
Your best case is to use a burner phone with a wifi connection some place other than work. If you don't have a burner, use an ipad (if you have one). Install Skype, use it and delete it. IOS is a nice OS for SD's because every app is self contained. You can delete and be done with it. NOTE: this does not take into account what info the app can dig up when it is installed and running.
You should create a separate Skype account for SB dealings. Also, you can tie the mongering Skype I'd to your fake email or a fake phone number. I actually picked up a Google Voice number and tied it to my fake (monger) email account. Also created a Skype I'd tied to the GV number. It would be best to use Skype on iPhone or iPad and delete the App when not in use. Also, you are better off to Skype your SB from the privacy of your car rather than your work desk.
