[Tutorial] How To Properly Use Image Search
Alright guys,
As we all know there's a lot of crap out there. Some girls advertising under fake images, stealing images from other sources and sometimes even worse.
I know that many of you guys use TinEye. Com to do a reverse search to find if a girl has stolen images to use in her post / advert, but it's come to my attention that this service is becoming less and less useful. I don't know if they are just falling apart, or if they've slowed down caching images or maybe even slowed down their crawlilng. Whatever it is, I've tried using them in recent times to no avail.
So I'm here to give you a much better alternative: GOOGLE!
Of course, we know that there's really no way that Tineye. Com can compete with the big G.
What you'll want to do is utilize Google's "Search by Image" function.
It's really simple, and will often come up with many more results than Tineye.
Step 1: Copy the URL of the image that you want to search for.
-You can do this by simply right clicking on the image and clicking:
-Copy Image URL (Google Chrome)
-Copy Image Location (FireFox)
If you're copying an image from a backpage ad, you should get something similar to the following:
http://images1.backpage.com/imager/u/large/51771335/IMG241.jpg
Step 2: Paste the copied URL into the search bar on Google. Com and hit search.
-You should get an message there that says "For matching images, try search by image"
Step 3: Click Search By Image!
You should now see some results from that image, as well as images that are closely related or images that look like the image that you searched for.
- End.
I hope this helps some guys out there!
Be Safe!
