If I have the time I kinda enjoy fucking with the scammers on SA. I'll pretend I'm a lonely old man after I've reverse image searched their pics and traced their phone number. I try to keep them going by answering their questions and sending them fake Amazon card numbers or pretending I don't know how to use PayPal, Cashapp whatever. Anything to waste their time.
Lately I've been asking them if this scam ever works and I finally got a scammer to admit they were in the US and yes they do get various amounts of money from suckers on SA. I guess I knew this because it's so prevalent but still dumbfounded that it works.

Problem is, wasting their time requires at least some of your own, right? And presumably you value it. So why spend it wasting theirs? The satisfaction can't be enduring. But maybe I'm missing something? I hate the scammers. But honestly, I hate the people who fall for their shit at least a little bit. Because without them, the scammers would have no reason to continue.
