No matter what you do DO NOT take a cab there, most AMPs have a deal with the companies and it'll cost you about another $100 to get in. Henderson used to be great, but they've closed most of the spots recently. From what I've heard Twin is good right now and they're open 24 hours, was going to go when I was there a few weeks go but couldn't ditch the family. Feel free to PM if you need any details, suggestions, etc.

Don't fall for it. Do your research ahead of time. They'll get a cut for every chump they drop off. One tried it with me late at night after I was coming home from a strip club. I just said, "No thanks. I'm tired I want to get some sleep."

I had not been here in a very long time so I stopped by. Nothing has changed. The same MMS greeted me who was there the last time. It was blazing hot in there so not sure if they have AC or it was broken or it was just off. This time I drew Yumi. I would say late 30's, early 40's something petite spinner, very nice body, nice long hair, likes to LFK, and very friendly from the start. Really good TS with a shot of mouth wash and very good Korean massage, no oil. On the flip we settled on a full meal for a buck 20. She worked very hard to earn that and there was some friendly negotiation to get to that number. This was closest to GFE I've had at a Korean Spa and one of the things she did right away was ask my name because most I encounter don't bother with that simple jesture of good customer service. I will visit her again and I recommend Yumi with a big thumbs up.
I decided to take one for the team and visit the reopened sky 1. It's exactly as it was. The MT I had was a little less that the pre closed quality, but that might have been a one off thing. What she lacked in looks, she made up for in effort.

I used to visit NEW LIFE frequently a couple years ago with "J". She was the youngest of the oldest there and I thought she was not bad looking. She gave an ok massage but a great back walk. She was a lot of fun and we always had some good laughs. Its possible she is still there so if you go try asking for her. I have been to Exercise and the problem was every time I went I got interrogated. I went three times and left happy once. To much hassle so I crossed that off the list.

I had to make a trip down to ORD last Thursday (8/4) so figured I would get down to the area earlier and visit Yun. Arrived at about 10:45 am without an appointment, looking for an one hour massage. Led to a room by the MS and gave the $80 fee. MT came in after I was undressed and said could only do the 1/2 hr because they didn't have more girls and she had an appointment coming in. MT was older but had a great body. Despite wanting a younger MT and the full hour, I was already undressed, so agreed to the 1/2 hr, which was $60. I prefer my massages in the "medium" pressure range. After a couple minutes I let her know the pressure was too much but very little change as she continued. She got to my calves and I couldn't take the pressure. Requested less again but she said that was an important area for a lot of pressure. I basically squirmed under her pressure for 25 minutes. I didn't get her name but she said she used to be a chiropractor, so somebody out there must know her name. MS yelled something from the hallway about 25 minutes in and a minute later we were done. She seemed very rushed during the entire massage. I have never left Yun un-happy until this visit. Directly related to the lack of MT's.

Read past posts and search for specific places. In the NW suburbs there are about a dozen decent places. But the talent and consistency are a constant problem. But you being a newb, will have to go to a few, post some reviews and contribute to the forum. $80 is on the high side $60-$70 is more the norm for an hour.

Go to an Asian Apartment instead. I used to go to Yun for a 1/2 HR and all in was $50. Older MT's but good bodies and solid performance with a short decent massage. One MT that I would get often always did some stretching which I liked. However I have decided if I want a good massage I stay closer to home. If I want some nooky I go to an Asian apartment. The value is so much better at an apartment.

I gave thanks spa in mt prospect a shot on a couple of occasions and got nothing more than a massage. I figured since they advertised in the body rubs section that more could be had but that was not the case for me. I had different MTs so it was not just one that was legit.
I agree with your inference. However, I've seen the mistake made frequently. I attribute the problem to language difficulty. And sometimes unscruplulous owners. A couple years ago, I knew someone who worked at a place and her boss advertised in the "Escort" section. I tried to explain to her. And eventually, when she finally realized she was in the "prostitution" section, she was mortified. Finally she realized why all of her customers expected to buy more than she was selling. I've seen times when the owner would promise the girl a "legit" shop, only to discover the same owner was advertising (implied) extras. I've also heard of legit shops where the girl would freelance to get better tips. So it really comes down to the specific person you are with, and how well you connect with that person.

I stopped by LUX after several months. This visit, new MMS, very friendly with the MT Pink, late 40's, in shape, nice body, average looks. They are more about the money than quality of service. There are diamonds in the rough like Jenny when she was at Crystal. She always made sure you got your full time and left satisfied. Crystal anymore. They are all about the turn over.
I find that Chinese MTs are more serious with their massage. Not all mind you but definitely the majority that I have been to. You should decide what you prefer. A good massage with a limited menu or a short rub and FS.
I have never, ever heard about a client getting arrested at a massage parlor. Unless they catch the MT mid-stroke and you have 50 bucks on your outstretched hand, I cannot imagine how anyone could get arrested at an AMP. If cops are there, your story is that you are there for a massage. Which is true. And totally legal.

I saw a post on the North Carolina forum, with a link to the news article, about a guy who was leaving an AMP, and was confronted by local cop. The cop asks him if he had received any sexual favors while inside. Stupid asshole says Yes, and gets himself and the girl busted.
When I first reported this, one of our brothers replied that what you do is answer politely in the negative, and do not let the cop intimidate you or act all buddy, buddy. "Come on, you can tell me!" Eventually the cop will run out of obvious questions and start repeating himself, hoping to get you to contradict yourself. When that happens, you tell the cop "I've answered your questions, and I'm starting to feel uncomfortable. If you have any more questions, I'd rather go through my lawyer. " At that point the cop can see you are not worth it, and let you leave with one of their BS warnings about keeping your nose clean.
OK, so I've never had to do this myself. But it still seems like good advice. Don't admit to anything except getting a massage. Don't contradict yourself. Don't let the cop repeat his questions. If he does, ask to leave and bring up the L word.
