I can understand why he would be pissed by this, but it is part of the game. I wrote to the Admin some time ago and volunteered to keep the photo thread current. I never heard a peep. The photo thread is special in that only the person running it can access it to add/change photos or change the format, etc. If a normal thread is set up, changes can only be made for a 24 hour period to any one post, and anyone can post to it, which might quickly clutter the organization and format. The photo thread had an open post format, and additions and changes could be made at any time. It also had an ability to keep the pic postings currently organized alphabetically by year, include ratings, and had program links to the various reports on each SW. Unless the Admin opens this up again and allows someone to run it, it is pretty much dead in the water as it used to exist. I am not quite certain why it was closed in the first place.

It is somewhat of an oversimplification, but non-contributors of reports and intelligence generally have the most rocks to throw and the dumbest things to say. I have been accused of being overly sensitive, and I have taken some of this crap too seriously from time to time. I should take a page from Cooky's book and completely ignore some of these idiotic flamers. With Mythbuster I actually got to my boiling point, and simply placed him on ignore. There should be some rules in this forum regarding continuously useless and disruptively negative or stupid posts, but that would be difficult to judge and administer. Unless a member is specifically and egregiously breaking some forum rules, then they will likely continue to hang around unscathed. We can report them as annoyances to the Admin and eventually enough complaints will get them removed. Other ways to go are to place them on ignore as you and I have decided to do with Mythbuster or just shout them down and eventually shame the stupid fuckers into silence.
