I hear where you're coming from, but new posters are always respected and trusted more if they start by contributing instead of asking questions. 500+ posts ago I found this board, but instead of asking for info, I just read, then tried things myself, and reported. After you do that awhile, and folks can see you really are a monger and not LE or a shill, then people will respond.

Of course, when I started mongering in 92, it was several years before I found the board, so I didn't have to ask a lot of questions. But most of us realize there's trial and error involved in this stuff. That makes it more risky, but you learn more that way and it's more adventurous, too :) which is part of the fun/hunt/game, etc. for me anyway.

Personally, I try and be reasonably nice to most n00bs, unless people come on here and ask really dumb questions (not the case for you, but ...)

Anyway, as I think you can see from recent posts how to handle options between car dates, their notel or your hotel. And the long-hair/bbbj thing is kind of specific ... maybe someone will throw you a PM, but chances are if it's not posted already, you're not going to get that kind of detail. I suppose in posts that describe good bbbjs but have no hair description, you could PM someone about it ... LOL

I'm an out of state monger, BTW, but mongered for many years in the ATL; that's why I still keep up with it.

Since most of the action is down on FIB. Has anyone tried Rileys show bar? I seen quite a few lookers in there. And I heard its full of extras. So I was wondering on some intell on that club. I got a little stripper buddy in there but I havnt pumped her completly for info. Id like to hear it from our side of the fence. I'm not exactly into $ fees in a dinky VIP. But id love to know if some are more into it than others. Or some that can be pulled out of there. Love to see what comes of this post.

I lived off Cobb Pkwy for a long time but never mongered since it was too close to home.

I'd have some periodic SW sightings on Cobb Parkway between the 120 North Marietta loop and the homeless shelter in Kennesaw right there at the corner of the Hwy 5 extension and Cobb Parkway. You'll see a lot of low-rent foot traffic passing through. Some of the SW will walk very, very slowly beside Cobb Pkwy or even hold out the thumb for hitching.

Check all of the crappy no-tells there on both sides of Cobb Pkwy, especially near the QT next to Bojangle's at corner with Allgood road, and then up Allgood road about 1-2 blocks near the crappy apt complexes. You'll always find some BSW there if you are patient There's a White Castle Inn that used to be crawling with them - some bolder dudes used to just drive out back and beep the horn. Also, there's an Intown Suites farther north on Cobb Pkwy, but that's at the northern end of the action, I remember getting "the look" there on a few occasions but that was within walking distance of my home, so no go.

Be careful though, a lot of "old money" Marietta residents live not too far away, and the police really move when those people complain. At one point they seemingly tripled the police patrols, and also shut off some roads to foot traffic with barricades because of the drug dealers (allegedly) passing through on foot.

Also, a lot of the SW from FIB used to tell me that they worked off Austell Rd. sometimes, in the crappy barrio part between South Cobb Drive and the EW connector. I never saw any myself in that area.

Also, I once heard that there was HSW action around the corner of Booth Rd. and Power Springs Rd, but I am guessing that it was apartment action advertised in the local Latin circulars.. That whole area might as well be annexed by Mexico.

New to the ATL moving into the area in Sep 08. Check out glenn6100 in MIA to see pics. I posted pics on my trips out of USA (before marriage). In town this week on business will spend freee time checking out the scene.

You know, I think Allgood was what I was trying to think of, not Seminole. But in any case, what you've got is more up-to-date than me. Definitely an area to be very careful in, in any case. I went around a few times, but even though she did not cross after several light changes I still could not get good eye contact. Maybe it was a bus stop and there were no signs. Not exactly the best post, but that was the only thing I saw north of the loop on both 41 and Fairground. Anyone else have any recent experience in this area?

This is just a question. I know streets such as fib, cobb pkwy, windy hill and delk are good for both mongering and SW but what about parks or stores. Does anyone know here if any stores or parks are good to cruise? The ONLY reason I'm asking is I thought it'd be safer from le and drugs for one but also I was in walmart last year and this hot girl asked me "looking for fun tonight" I mean she was a 8-9 anyway, so on the SW scale you know it was outrageous. I know this probably wasn't the best question ever asked or even a great post but just trying to expand our possibilities.

I know it is hard sometimes, but I let common sense rule. Some people just do not have it. And common sense tells me never to go into the hotel room of a street walker especially when there are thugs lingering outside. I would worry as much about what would happen to my car while I was in there. I also never carry more money than I plan to spend, no matter who I am seeing. The rest is locked in my glove box.

You made some good points. But in addition not only would I not want to go to someone's hotel room I wouldn't want to bring them back to my place either, because you never know what could happen. Best thing to do in that situation is get a hotel room yourself and then go mongering. I realize little head thinks before big head a lot of times but safety is the main issue.

Ok I know how this may sound at first but bare with me.

I went downtown just cruising for real and not really looking for anything. I turned down Fourth St. Off of W. Peachtree and it was like I hit the motherload. First thing came to mind was trannies. On second look though it was all women. I chatted one up and she said that the women were trying to make a new spot to throw off the trannies and this was it. Turned the corner on Spring and made it back up Third. Basically right around the AT&T parking lot. I still don't trust that area, but I did see LE posted up talking to the females. Thing is he wasn't stopping the traffic. Made me a little leary so I just told the girl thanks and kept it moving.

I'm talking 7-9 on the SW scale here by the way. I'll keep you posted.

If you're going to do that, you may as well get a room in an extended stay where you know there is going to be some action. No one is going to bust you for standing outside your own room talking to a chick, or for getting naked in front of the chicks you invite inside.

In most towns if you can find a hotel with cheap rates and street action around it, when you get a room you may also get deliverySW.

Last year in Daytona I picked a not so nice place to stay while fishing and ended up with SW's knocking on my door 2-3 times a day. The best part was the rates, I could get a BBBJCIMWS for .20 and CFS for .30-.40.

I've been flat out offered FS at Riley's. The unfortunate thing is that I was drunk beyond the point of being able to walk, so I know getting Mr. Richard to work would have been out of the question. I don't recall how she looked or what the damage would have been but I don't think you would be wrong to just flat out ask if you see something you like. If you want to be subtle, you can phrase it thusly: "Is something more intimate available than a couple dances?" If you want to be brazen about it, probably not a big deal either. Both have worked for me at other SCs before. If the answer is "no" it's not like they're going to run around the club screaming out how much of a perv you are. Strippers are only a couple steps from whoring anyway and most of them know it.

Same thing with Club Wax. I was quite sober when it happened there, but the quality (at least at that time) didn't warrant me partaking for more $$ and passing up the SWs available right down the street (better looking and less $$ in my opinion.

Don't be shy. It's OK to jump in with both feet sometimes.

Maybe you gentleman haven't done much mongering around Atlanta, but it's damn near impossible to have a quality SW experience without going to their rooms. It's just part of the risk you accept when you decide to pick up hookers off the street. There's really no way around it. You can pick and choose which rooms you agree to go in...but USUALLY you aren't going to get them to come to your room (as stated in a previous post); and car action attracts all kinds of LE attention if you park in some area that supposed to be remote.

Use good sense, and be aware of what's going on around you...but it's a risky activity. Man up and accept it if you're going to be out there. Otherwise, "escorts" would be a better option for you.

You're absolutely right about you gotta pick and choose, and you're right about it being risky, I was just saying that's an option of one way of doing it. I have went to a room before over on delk. You're also right about car dates attracting LE, they want to bust you anyway they can. I totally agree with you gaghoes.

That area isn't exactly new - but if it's heating up again, I'd expect to see LE sitting in a big white truck at the corner of W. P'tree and 3rd or 4th.

Agree ... I don't find it shocking that the women would try and reclaim some of that territory. I always felt safer around there than Metro (moved out of town before FIB got hot).

The fella could be correct about there being born vagina for the taking in that area. About a year or so ago I partook in an attractive and shapely BSW in around Juiniper and 3rd. I think Precious was her name. Nice girl. I later saw her advertising on CL a couple weeks after our rendezvous for twice the price.

Not true cousin. There are plenty of women downtown. You just have to know where to go. Like this spot. Now I'm not saying not to be careful, but I was there and I asked the women there. This is what they told me. Girl told me everybody on that block is usually a woman. But I do stress usually.

Traveling home from work at approximately 6:30 PM today and saw 3 WSWs on Ponce de Leon just up the street from Whole Foods. The first two wouldn't entice anyone to slow down, but the third was doable. Blonde, tall and wearing (believe it or not) a slinky black dress that showed a lot of leg and high heels. You so rarely see a SW dressed like a SW that it's eye-catching. We exchanged the significant looks that mutually identified us as prospect and prostie. I zoomed around the block and came back but, unfortunately, a red Ford beat me to her.

Just another area for you to try if you're in the neighborhood.

I'm with Gaghoes on this one. That area is far from safe and the girls are mostly run by pimps out of the ponce de leon hotel. Also for some reason every girl i've picked up in that area has said something to me about aids. They're always like watch out for aids, or that girl has aids, or don't trust these other girls. There is one girl over that has a black pimp/bf thats ok. She has wavy brown shoulder length hair, but like gag said they're all associated with the meth monster.

One very negative experience i had one time involved a SW over there. I picked her up and we agreed on .3 and well she bitched and complained the whole time. Well she got out of my car and a little while later i noticed my phone was missing. I circled around and finally found her and at that point she yelled she didn't have my phone and bolted on foot. As i continued the search one of the questionable characters by the taco bell yelled out if i was looking for a phone. Then he proceeded to charge me $ for it. Of course at that point $ was a lot cheaper then a new one plus the lost info so i paid it and vowed never to go back.

The area around the 24hr bowling near cheshire and pied will have some prospects around periodically. As well cheshire near the waffle house and the neighborhood behind the video store and citgo will have some prospects every now and then. Those areas are somewhat safer in general with a little less LE involvement then ponce.

Good warning on Ponce. Thanks for that info. I disagree with your assessment of Cheshire Bridge LE activity, though. There may be less marked LE cars, but when passing through this area I've seen a few people (more than usual compared to other areas) getting arrested by LE in unmarked cars and street clothes. I've mostly observed this happening in the late afternoons. One of the officers even had on one of those masks they wear when they don't want to be identified for undercover operations. I don't know if it's a short term thing or if they have a long term operation in that area, but you have to be careful there. There's some revitalization efforts being made on C-Bridge and this is usually accompanied by discouraging SWs and arresting mongers.

Passing through Atlanta on my way to Columbus, decided to check out the local scene. Cruised FIB Sunday afternoon into early evening. A couple of girls out early, but it definitely picked up around 6. Plenty of BSW, some were very cute, saw a few WSW's but they were all cracked out. The best of the bunch wanted me to be "Santa claus" when I pressed her she wanted $ for cbj and claimed to have just gotten $$. 5 for a BJ. When I countered with. 2 she asked to be dropped off, good riddance.

One thing I noticed is that the hobbists down here are FAST! Every time I saw something interesting it was gone in 10 seconds.

I finally found "star" cute WSW, blond hair, not yet cracked out. She asked for. 4 cbj, . 5 BBBJ, . 6 cim. Good service but everything was more $. If you touch me here you have to give me more, if you touchme there you have to give me more, etc.

Went thru Saturday night. This one BSW quoted me. 60 for a cbj. 70 for full plus 10 bucks for the room. Then another BSW quotes me $ for the deed. Damn gas is high enough s it is, now the streetwalkers raising prices too?

These chicks are trying to "play you for a fool". I've noticed that depending on how you dress or what you drive these SW's will try and get as much money as possible out of you. I mongered on FIB on Saturday night(well technically Sunday morning since it was 4AM) and the chick said she "wanted .6", but I lied and said all I had on me was .5 which I though was still higher than .4 I'd paid in the past, but I settled since I was in a hurry). I've been getting more and more girls as of late asking for .6, but I definitely won't be paying that unless she's just a diamond in the rough I got to have, which isn't likely. Of course most of them will back down on what they want, but I have encountered a few who don't in which case they stay their ass on the side of the street and don't get anything. I'll be hanging up my street mongering hat and just getting the cheaper providers off of CL before I start paying .6 on a regular basis for a SW.

It's just part of a SW's game. They are in it for the money so are always looking to charge more. Sometimes you will get some high priced SW's that will visit your town. The thing to remember is that eventually some reasonably priced SW's will appear. This is why it's important to get some ph #'s. I always get a ph#.
