I started mongering in 1985 and didn't really keep any records so I had to estimate. Excluding the Covid years, I would say I averaged two FS encounters per month (sometimes many more, rarely less). So lets say that's 24 encounters per year for 35 years, so a total of approximately 840 encounters. Not bad until you consider that I paid an average of $200 per session including house fee and provider fee. That equates to at least $168,000 that I spent mongering (I suspect it's a lot more). That shocked me!

I actually do track other metrics as well, mostly copying the same metrics as RM does, but sometimes also some minor things like; Hot Towels, Water Bottle, Massage Table Height & Strurdiness, Post Session Linen Change out, Sync the Wall Clock time to my Phone, Providers Breath & Body Hygiene, Back Walking Bars, Shower Available, ect.

That being said, it really wasn't ideal. There could be as many as 10 or more guys trying to get their turn which means you spend most of your time waiting. It certainly is an event that can get exciting, especially if you like to watch. I was also very careful about my hygiene. So long as I shared information about a good experience, and I direct you to the post, be it in the regular section or NC thread, do you really give a fuck what I call the area? If me labeling the area something you disagree with sit back take a breath and chose to read the post or not.

I mean seriously. It would be one thing to comment in passing that RB might not be considered NC, but to make it sound like a violation and terrible crime, is ridiculous. He didn't even thank me for the post, and I'm deeply hurt. Even if I did mislabel RB's location on the county map, so fucking what?

Interestingly enough, other mongers have commented supporting the idea that RB is in NC regardless of zip codes and what might be the official or unofficial list of NC.

Anyone who is an SD native and sits in traffic on a regular basis would call call RB part of NC. Some people just want to argue about things. Focus on the important thing which is getting the intel on the pussy we are all after.

I'm going to be intentionally vague with the details to protect the source despite their actions, but the lesson is an important reminder.

A provider I know was contacted by the girlfriend of one of her regular clients. Said girlfriend was clearly fishing for information, using the number she'd found on phone. Instead of doing the professional and discreet thing, which would have been to immediately block and ignore the contact, this provider continued to engage. Worse than that, she volunteered information. She confirmed she knew him, mentioned how often she'd seen him, and even named platforms where these ads can be found.

I'm not here to judge anyone's relationship situation or how a provider chooses to run her business. But this incident is a reminder of a fundamental truth that you can't rely on the other person in this transaction to uphold their end of the discretionary bargain. Your privacy and security are your responsibility and your responsibility alone.

If a provider is willing to break basic discretion this easily, you have to assume that any provider might.

If you aren't already using a dedicated burner phone or a secondary app number for all hobby related communications, you are playing with fire. There is no excuse not to. It's minimal cost (if not free) and low effort for what I'd consider the minimum level of protection of your personal life.

Don't be the guy whose world gets turned upside down because someone on the other end couldn't keep their mouth shut. Be smart, be diligent, and protect yourself. This is supposed to be an escape, not a source of life altering drama. Stay safe out there.
