As I have previously posted news updates on the case against the ladies charged in the Butler County massage parlor bust that took place last October (2014), I thought I'd post another one. This report indicates one attorney plans to argue that Ohio's prostitution laws are unconstitutional. Hope he is successful, but wouldn't bet on it.

In my college days, I had a chance to discuss why prostitution should or shouldn't be illegal. Back then I was a handsome young man, never thought I will need the service, and purely intellectual reason, we debated and researched it. Even back then, a lot of studies concluded that prostitution by itself can't be 'bad. ' Moral, STD, drug, slavery and trafficking are all separate issues from prostitution, thus it should be legal.

I'm not expecting the State of Ohio will be serious about legalizing it soon. But did we think recreational marijuana would be legalized, let's say, 10 years ago?
