Ended up calling a few places to see if they were open. Got 2 of them on the line and said, "no sorry we closed, may 20". So I guess a lot of them will be opening up then. With that said, be safe!

I called a bunch of places and it seems most have their numbers forwarded because I got the voicemail box for a 212 number when I was calling 860 numbers

Stopped by Star Spa on Route 6 in Bristol, pulled into the back parking lot only to see a "Closed" sign hanging on the back door. Went to Google them and saw a notice that this spa is "Permanently Closed. " Can anyone confirm this?
If this is true, that's too bad. I've been going there since they opened nearly 20 years ago and have had some fun visits over the years, especially the times I stopped by just before hey were closing for the night,.

I have frequented there off and on for at least 10 yrs. Always a quality rub. A few of the ladies still helped you get dressed at the end. Spears, you find any open places?
I did visit the parking lot a meat market in cigarette town a couple weeks back. Experience was fair. HE was too mechanical. Maybe I am rubbing it numb:-o Feel free to PM me.

I had some very good times there but most of all they just gave a really good massage. I'd be interested to hear if they closed permanently too. I was expecting some turn over of places and girls. Maybe other new places will pop up or the same old places will have new ladies. Have to wait and see and hope.
As I understand it from my private Asians from Flushing. The owners of some of the AMP's in Ct are trying to get younger talent. But we will see. As to my experience only, when they would bring in younger talent, the talent would stay for a short time, maybe 1, 2 weeks max and leave.
If a place like Star shuts down, good chance that new owners will take over and bring in younger talent. I know of one AMP owner that might take the location over, that would be a good thing, but again, we will see.

Highly respected Senior Member Gordon Freeman just posted in the "General" section that the MPs in CT should open on June 20th, although guidelines have not yet been issued on how exactly that would work. So it looks like we'll have to wait a few weeks longer.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Star Spa in Bristol re-open with a new owner, it's already set up to operate as an MP, has a parking lot in the rear and a rear entrance, has a built-in clientele an is located in a town that appears to tolerate it being open as an MP. You are correct, Gto69, the younger workers tend to rotate between spas every few weeks, while the over-40 masseuses may work at the same location for years.

I thought I would add some details. No rotation of younger ladies between AMPs. Just doesn't happen.
Think of it, it's a job. You work at company A, don't like it, go to company B, don't like it, go to company C, etc. Same thing in the AMP world. If the provider doesn't like the AMP, they move on. Or some get fired. It's a business. No great "Wizard of AMP's" that controls where the providers go. It's up to them to renew massage credentials, drivers license, housing, etc.
How I know this. I verified this with my 2 private providers.
Willing to help you out Spearsman and provide you info. Selfishly speaking, I would encourage you to continue to post, they find them hilarious. Especially when you talk about rotating the young ones.

I don't post much but scour reviews semi-regularly. About 2 yrs ago I was visiting a place in a silky city. The one that advertises the Provider was unusually very attractive. Service was 7-8/10 in total. On my way out the door, the provider specifically asked me to NOT put a review of the place online. The only reason I can muster is to dissuade LE. Anyone other thoughts or ideas peeps?

I review on-line has the potential to have men coming out of the woodwork to the spa / provider. That could cause neighbors to react and have law enforcement take notice.
On a side note I was at a GFE style spa in NYC year ago and the lady actually showed me a handwritten list of web sites for me to put a review up at.

Spa Castle, Middletown, CT.

Based on a recommendation from a fellow board member I had a session at Spa Castle in Middletown. I had known about this spa but pre-COVID I usually went to are&Ts in East Hartford or Wethersfield. Call first for an appointment or if they can let you right away. The spa is newer, fairly large inside, clean, and well kept up. Temperature check and masks are required (For therapist and customer). Standard are&T script. My hostess was middle aged but nice looking. I spotted an older women in the office area. I have been told that there is also a younger women working there. The session was as expected and was actually very nice. I rate my experience an A. While getting dressed the therapist did a full sheet / towel change and was cleaning the surfaces in the room. Table shower available but sauna shut down. I will most likely return if my other spas do not open. 70 + 40.
