Rule #1 for getting out of a hole
Damn, damn, damn! Ok, I have already violated items 1, 2.3, and 4. What kind of damage control would you suggest? For example, should I retract any negative reviews I have already made? Damn, damm, damn. I can't move, but fortunately there was only one Provider. Since the damage is already done, is there any harm in having her back? Once you know a Provider is legit, would home service be safe? What about Agency home service? What about Agencies period?
I have already used my credit card twice. 1 time it was legal (Nevada). The second time, I was planning on disputing the charge because I *didn't* get what I paid for (all I got was the privilege of rubbing some titties). I was going to ask the vendor to list the charges and associated costs so I could post them to the Internet (thinking it would be too much of an embarrassment so they would refund my money instead). That was also Nevada but I found out the hard way that ah, services, are not legal everywhere, just in low population counties. Should I forget it and just pay the bill to stay under the radar?
Forgot to say thank you JmSuttr for the No charge! .
Should I seriously buy the monger phone wearing a baseball cap? Ok, you guys are starting to scare me!
Can I assume BBBJ is safe?
Other than the reviews and this site, I haven't posted anything else.
Guitarman1, do you really think a Tor connection is necessary? What does everyone else think?
JusaNon75, damn, damn, damn. Good advice! Is there any damage control I can do?
If you don't give your real name, how are Providers suppose to verify you are not LE? Making a full fake profile is nearly impossible I think. Might be easier to borrow someone else's?
Damn, damn, damn! Thanks guys!
Exp69 (not my real name.)
Is to stop digging!
Just because you gave your real info to a provider before is no reason to repeat the mistake. Don't see her again, move on. Don't use your credit card (ever!) and just pay the bill and chalk it up to experience. Your plan should be to move forward, not backward, and to avoid repeating past mistakes. Besides, most providers are pretty disorganized and there's a good chance that she'll lose your number or forget about you as time goes by.
What everyone is telling you is to maintain a solid firewall between your regular life (name, numbers, details, etc.) and your hobby life. And the mindset you need to cultivate is a sense that the best way to protect yourself is to exercise as much control as possible in all your interactions with providers.
Think about it, if you see a provider on an outcall basis, she has almost all of the control and leverage. She (and her driver / boyfriend / pimp) knows where you live, she can make a scene that draws attention from neighbors and she can leave right after taking your money and there's not a damn thing you can do about it. If you see that same provider on an incall basis, you maintain the lion's share of the control. In that situation, if you get to the location and it doesn't feel safe, just drive away. If she opens the door and she's not the girl in the pic, just leave. If you've already left the donation and the session goes sour, again you can just leave. Yeah, it sucks to pay money and not get what you expected, but that's the main reason research is so important. And there's not one poster on this board that hasn't lost some $$ over the course of their mongering.
Some guys get hotel rooms if they want to see an outcall-only provider, but I know that can get expensive. When you spend some time on this board and get better with your research, you will find that you have lots of options other than outcall-only. My recommendation is to get up the learning curve as soon as you can so that you can exercise those options that give you the most control and keep you safe.
Also, I personally make it a point to never give my real name or info to a provider. If she demands it, or if her verification is too intrusive, I simply move on. There are many more providers out there who don't have those restrictions. If you've seen a girl several times and then you want to have her come to your place, that would still not be my recommendation because there are still too many variables that you can't control and too many things that could go wrong.
As for your other questions, IMHO BBBJ is generally safe (certainly safer for you than for her). And, if you want to activate your monger phone anonymously over the internet, try using a public terminal such as at a library, or anywhere where you can pay cash and not give your real name. Otherwise, the payphone option is a good one.
And remember to RTFF (read the f*ck*ng forum)!
Good luck!
Just read your advice, and it's excellent
Just uploaded a response to your post but I mistakenly logged in with a handle I use on a different site, so it won't show up for a few hours. Look for a post with a title that starts with "Rule #1"
Failure to follow Rule #1 is a major reason so many political types end up having to leave DC and go back home.
Also, great explanation the firewall concept.
Agree that outcall with someone you don't know is a very bad proposition. Doing it with someone you've known for a while is a judgment call, and should still be avoided, except in rare circumstances. I've had 6 girls come to my place over the last 15 years. All were indies. There were three I hadn't seen before, but two (Claire LaFemme and Chloe) had many excellent reviews, and were well-known indies who participated on a discussion board run by a large canine. This was also 10-plus years ago; I wouldn't do an outcall like this anymore.
One was someone I'd been seeing for almost 10 years at an apartment she kept in DC for doing the 'massage' she advertised in the Washingtonian. (Anyone remember Cathy on Connecticut Ave?)
The other was someone who sporadically advertised on BP in another city. I saw her ad, and called to ask if she ever visited DC. It turned out she came here to visit family, but never advertised here, so I took a flyer on picking her up near her family's place and driving her to mine.
If you pick her up, drive a circuitous route, and try to bring her in where she can't see your address. Odds are, a girl that lets you drive her will never remember details anyway. Still, outcall should be the exception, not the rule.
Hope for the best and learn from your mistakes
You may want to check out some verification sites that vet you and the provider. I don't personally use the services (hence my name: just anon) as I like to remain anonymous and hopefully not traceable.
My advice. Hope for the best and learn from your mistakes.

A while back I remember a write up for "The rules of escort mongering" and had a lot of excellent, common sense advice for us all. We should all take the time to read through and make some mental notes.

Good luck!
Yes, good advice! Yes, I got a monger phone, but haven't activated it (someone said to wait a while). The first one I bought I had to return because I bought it with a credit card and then remembered what you guys said. I went to a different store, paid cash, and bought a different phone. I don't know though, I'm so nervous now I'm not sure I will continue (Watta says I'm Doomed! That is not a very optimistic prediction!). I will have to wait until my little head starts demanding it and then see what my big head says. Watta, it would be very difficult to get a new cell phone number for many reasons, most of which I cannot explain here. The biggest one is that I've had it for 15 years, everyone I know uses that number. Even if I did get a new number, that cell number would still be tied to me in phone co records.
Seems like there is a bigger chance of getting robbed or taken with incall, however, I guess if you do your homework you minimize your risk.
I have heard of RTFM, now I know what RTFF means, thanks!
Guitarman, thanks for the tor explanation. No, I do no contacting via the internet, just research. I'll have to read up on how the monger phone is activated, I like the idea of a public pay phone, do those exist any more? .
Well, if you really want to know how much I lost, it was more like $$$$ on 3 meetings. Talk about learning it the hard way. Yes, I'll pay the bill and move on. Need to keep under the radar for a while.
Again, thanks for all the advice, guys. I think I'll hang low for a few days, maybe even visit some legit dating sites. Man I hate those!

Exp
Just as we all are doomed, that is. If you want a sure thing, low cost, and usually good service then send me a PM and I might give you a phone number where you can get some really good Chinese. Not blonde but always petite. DO NOT tell these people where you got the number from because they insist on staying far underground and ban those who let it out and if you mess this up for me I will track you down and it might get nasty. (smile). The cost is always the same and the provider changes every 10 days or so,
ALSO. To find a pay phone go to most any of the OLDER shopping centers or the lobby of most any motel / hotel.
Now go forth and do great things!

Not doom and gloom, just a healthy dose of caution
Thank you very much, Watta, I love petite, but I will decline for the moment. I am obviously very bad at this due to my inexperience and I don't want to jeopardize a good thing for anybody else. Let me get some more experience, do my first incall (I assume you are referring to an incall) or two, and then I'll hit you up.
Many thanks,
Exp
As you read through this forum you'll see providers recommended by senior members and you can give them a try. If you like petite, I've read good reports about these three outfits:
http://www.skyeden.org/
http://iluvhot.com/home.html
http://www.clubpearls.net/home.html
They're a little pricier than some of the independent girls, but not outrageously so. Or you can look at the escort classified posts on this board. Mya Sky is one provider who has an ad posted and I can personally vouch for the fact that she is a good find.
So don't get too freaked out and, OTOH, don't get too complacent. Just find a good balance and remember to always think with the big head.
