I just came back from a trip to Thailand and Pattaya. Devil's Den is pretty hyped up but was. Only ok? There is plenty of action to be had though, so I preferred to just walk through different gogos until I found something my flavor and paid for either short time or long time. Sorry for the late response, I haven't been reading the forums. The photo you have are what the individual houses / businesses look like and it is 2 stations from Namba. Each sign is a separate place. I was there early around 3:30 pm to 5 pm and got a drink before circling back to pick a girl and I'd say about sixty percent of the houses were open. If you get there later I'm sure they'll all be open for business. I got a drink in one of the karaoke / bars and the lady said that the area gets busy there after 5 pm when people get off work. There were a couple of other mongers walking the street and a couple of cars driving through at that time but otherwise the streets were empty because it was still early.

The photo below (not my photo) is what it looks like walking by. The mamasan on the side and the girl sitting down on an elevated floor area with the area nicely decorated and good lighting.

JR, thanks for the response. Are all the houses open to foreigners? Or do they mostly cater to Japanese men only? What's the damage? It was only 12,000 for an hour with double pop the last time I went.

Most SE Asia countries airfare is $1000-$1500. If you book far in advance you can probably get for about $1000 and possibly a bit cheaper. Depending on the country study the currency exchange rates. From my experience the Philippines and Thailand is relatively safe and very inexpensive. In the PI you can find hotel rooms from high of $150++ depending on the area. Manila, makati would all be a bit high IMO. As long as the hotel has hot water and a / see then I are ahead of the game. I used to stay in malate area and decent hotel can run $50-$60 a night, and possibly less. Understand that it won't be like US hotels.

In the diff. Provinces I have hotels that cost $30-$50 and really clean and decent. In Manila the girls will cost 3-5000 pesos (php) USD $ 75-$120) including bar fines. In the province 1500-3000 php (US $ 35-75.00).

Thailand is similar in terms of hotel and for the girls. It really depends on you and what you like in terms of hotel and of course the girls. Many of the girls are jaded especially the really pretty ones. They try to hold out. I look for more average cute. Pretty girls and try to play things down as they will be more humble. Just remember there is always another one around the corner. In the malls waking around. Just make eye contact and don't be afraid to talk to them and be a little aggressive by openly talk about going out or karaoke or drinking. They know the deal and once comfortable will come around.

Airfare is usually expensive but one you get there the hotels for a week should not be more than $700-$900 on the high end in Manila. It honestly should be cheaper more like $500-$600. Unless you drink a case of beer a day. If you saved $3000 for everything and planned ahead I think you would be happy.

Need to depart / return Sunday-Thursday or it $700 something. Still a good deal. You can find airfare from Narita to SE Asia countries for cheap on other smaller airlines departing Narita or Haneda. Check out Peach Air. Are / T tickets for under $100. It's a sub of ANA.
