Saw a post on facebook and on news that Asian Wellness in Kennewick and its sister store in Othello got raided today and shut down.

Right after they made new laws saying no massages after 9 pm, massage licenses has to be on display, and the cops could pop in for inspection at any moment. We had 12 parlors, now we have 2 that still advertise (just massages). The city lied and said it was for trafficking but only made 2 arrests and there was no mention of anyone being removed / rescued. The councilwomen who drove the whole thing is a licensed massage therapist and I'm sure she was invested in taking out her competition.

I figured it was coming after someone pointed out that there were more parlors than Starbucks in Yakima. It was great while it lasted and I’m sure if you reach out to the agency that runs their ads the might set you up with a date instead.

Ranchrite Road (Across the street from Sonic, tucked back in a private area) - Open and advertising.

Green Spa (North 1st street, this was the headquarters where the boss lady worked) - Closed.

Nob Hill across from Safeway. Open.

Tieton road near 56th. Open but don't go here they don't offer much.

Nob Hill next to Gyro House. Closed.

Yakima Ave off 16th. Closed.

The one a few blocks south of Yakima Ave. Closed.

Fruitvale Road near 16th. Open and advertising massages.

Noticed the ads still say to 10 pm or so, so woinder if the AMPs got a judge / attorney to threaten the city somehow not to close them all down. And doubt if any of those fine ladies have WA state massage licenses. Agree, just to be safe not going to "check out a place" As for the AMPs business must have been pretty good to have so many open. Will make a grand tour next week and see what's open if I have time to stop in each.

They usually will move to different motels every couple of days to stay ahead of any surveillance. And another common thing they do is leave the door to the room you are supposed to go into open so you don't have to knock. They won't give you the actual room number until you are in the parking lot, and they obviously have lookouts that can warn them if ellie visits the hotel.
