Both mongers, on retired, one active. And a criminal lawyer friend of mine thought about it and later said he thinks LE stings would avoid selective language. The retired cop also said that:

--There are two types of stings.

-The basic one where they try to sweep up johns in a production line, sorta. Motel room with cams pre-installed, sound, guys in rooms nearby, cars on street. Run up to 3 adds on CL and BP, vague, very convincing chic on the phone. They try to get cash specific acts agreed to, and $$ changing hands. But they will grab a guy just on specific acts mentioned if he gets hesitant on $. Let the prosecutor charge or not.

-The "underage" sting, where if you lean that way and dumb enough to go that route your life is over.
