I have been in Providence for a work assignment the past week. Thurber & Eddy Street intersection. Gas station / Burger King. White female panhandler I've seen here multiple times. When I was stopped at the red light, she was walking on the traffic island waving hello to everyone.

I tried striking up a conversation with her. She said she was living in a shelter, blah blah, getting money together. I offered to buy her something to eat and hang out but she just walked away as light turned green.

Anyone know who she is? Is she a WSW or legit panhandler? She's white, blond is brown hair, skinny, tall skinny dark skin dude is always lurking around near her.

It is kind of wide and busy because the ramp to 95 south is right there so traffic is moving all the time. The panhandlers all seem to have their marked territory and no one seems to infringe on that so my guess is it was a fly by night thing!

I find it best to flash a 20 and say hop in. If they want to earn they usually hop right in.
