Around these parts, Aurora walkers are just that. And only that! Most are from out of town, and are far too safe and expensive to be any fun, much less regular fun. It's all nails and eyelashes and condoms anymore, and at three times the price that it once was. The viewing is fine, but the ladies are plastic.

All of the Novelist's points are spot on, 100% correct. And here's more: Ever look at the Photo Gallery, or read the reports on those photos? Admittedly, some are frightening and wouldn't get a date with me at gunpoint. But a fair number are quite attractive, doing their jobs for reasonable prices. We don't have much of that here anymore. They're pretenders and little else.

Some mongers might be satisfied to risk it all and throw away their money. I'm not. AA is for viewing only. It's a sorry state of affairs with the amateurs running the show.

Or when neighborhood residents complain, which is the more likely scenario. People have to live there, walk on the sidewalks and visit businesses all along AA. Neighborhood women get tired of you weirdos leering at and pulling over for them, pimps pulling up and harassing them, etc. Wives get tired of entitled drag queens, er, I mean hookers with their fake eyelashes and nails trying to get into their husband's cars when they stop at a light. I'll also mention the hookers wearing thongs standing in the middle of Aurora in broad daylight for little boys and girls to see, mothers hate that shit in their neighborhoods. Then there's the pimp-on-pimp violence which occurs out on every pimpy stroll, and AA is very much turning into a pimp stroll. That's the shit which draws the ire of the neighborhood, and that's the shit which will draw a crackdown. The hookers out there think they own the streets and the neighborhood until the jump-out van pulls-up. And one day it will, mark my words.

Joining the local community groups for neighborhoods around AA on social media is enlightening. They can offer a clue as to what residents are seeing and what they dislike.

Switching topics here, I've seen a lot of talk about rates on this thread. It indeed has gone crazy. I'm not immune to it, either, the difference is that if I find a girl who offers service I like and she's attractive with the body-type I like then I'll accept a higher-rate. It's just how it is right now. I won't pay a crazy amount, but I'll go a bit higher. The problem with the most of the hookers out there right now is that they want $250 for very limited service in 15 minutes or less. That's just a rip-off. They don't care about regulars because they'll be moving-on to the next town. And as someone mentioned earlier, the "plastic" feel of most of these girls really turns me off completely. There's being dolled-up, and then there's just being a freak-show. I make comparisons to drag queens because sometimes it does feel as if i'm watching a drag show as I cruise down AA. Not at all exciting. But in any case, I've had better luck with traveling girls who swing back through Seattle every now and again and of course local girls, but both have been few and far between. I've had zero action, my regulars are gone, and searching online has been fruitless. I've never, at any point in my hobbying, ever had this much of a problem before. So when the stars align and she excites me, I do it. I don't know if or when things will change back to how they used to be, but I'm coming to the conclusion that it won't.

I spent some time to just look at the scene for a bit this evening, had something else to do but a bit of time to waste so thought I'd do it on AA. Lots of nice spinners out tonight, saw a nice thin bleached-blonde with longer hair dressed in red walking along the Lowe's strip and behind her was a tiny tiny 4-foot something, looked Asian but I couldn't tell. Some nice shapely BSWs down by Les Schwab and in front of the motels to the cannabis shop. Not much south of 105th, nothing really to write about. Didn't stop for any, didn't have the time tonight nor the desire. Although they looked good this evening, I got the feeling it was going to be the same story with all of these girls out there lately.

I actually saw Candace out there near 96th. Didn't appear to be working, she was sitting down and actually having a laugh with someone. I don't see her smile very often at all. I've been hearing that all of the hotels who took the girls in during the pandemic on the city's dime are now starting to kick them out. Wondering if we'll start seeing some of our old regulars out there again. I guess we'll see.

I was nearly T-boned by an over-zealous guy who ran a stop sign to turn onto Aurora.
