Nali is just one of her many names. In Fire Emblem when you reach 20th level, you transform into a new class, new name, better stats. In Pokemon, a Pikachu becomes a Raichu with better stats and a new name. When HYA turn into Dragons, the same thing happens. Nali is her [B]Dragon Name[/B]. When she became Nali, her stats did pop. Like a completely different girl.

[B]Dragon Name[/B]
Girls often take on a new name after [B]Dragon Ascension[/B]. It is the rare accelerated process of creating a HYA service queen. Nali was one of them, and obviously she did not start with MMs either (no woman is born with MMs btw). Thus, Nali is her Dragon Name.
