By way of a brief synopsis, you'll find some consensus on the following:
Higher end clubs: Flight Club, Penthouse, Scores.
Mid tier clubs: BTs, Toy Chest, Players, Silver Cricket.
Lower tier clubs: Bogarts, Henry 8 North and South.
There are lots of additional Detroit clubs beyond those mentioned above.
Fully nude on stage performance? Bouzouki's (spelling?) and Deja Vu in Ypsilanti and a few scattered reports of nude performances at Hustler and Flight Club.

Plenty of good experiences at H8's in the past, but got burnt this time. It was a super slow night with only a couple girls. Chatted up one dancer who turned out to be one of the few "clean" dancers at the club- I have a knack for picking out the clean dancers at clubs. Eventually had a very good VIP visit with a curvy woman of Phiippine descent. Players features a very good afternoon shift but it has two major problems-- about half of the customers and 3/4 of the dancers smoke so, if you're not a smoker, you'll leave smelling like one. Also the circulation around the central bar is very awkward so it is somewhat difficult to meet the dancers unless you tip on stage.
To round out my trifecta, I stopped by BT's in Dearborn. Also a pretty good line up of talent with a good mix of black and white dancers. If you're into extras, this is a great club-- I have yet to meet a dancer at BTs who does not provide exceptional customer service, usually at a reasonable price point.
Overall. Two excellent strip club visits (Players and BTs) and one mediocre one (Scores).
