So, there are lots of cars and people around. I park far enough away so I can walk up to the door while checking out what's around me. If someone else is leaving right as you are arriving or if someone else is arriving at the same time, you can back off a little or, if possible walk past the AMP and comeback. The other challenging thing is that my vehicle has an out-of-state license plate. While not uncommon at all here in the DMV, I wouldn't expect many, if any, VA or DC residents to visit small local businesses in Greenbelt.
