Decided to call a provider to set something up potentially. She gave me the rates I told her I was all set and then she proceeded to call me back 6 times sending the call to voicemail then 2 more times that I answered. http://boston.backpage.com/FemaleEscorts/a-cougar-is-on-the-prowl-38-ddd-super-sexy-43/21597259 Was her ad she claims she is going to blacklist me with every other provider and I will be robbed at my next date. God I love some comedy in the morning.
Here's a few more from Nyx's Christmas shoot.
Stay safe, and happy hunting.

YES! Meet up with Nyx and then you can be my reference! I won't give her my personal info or get verified thru one of those services that calls up your workplace. I've tried a couple times asking Nyx if she would meet up for coffee to verify me. But she demands you give her your personal info or you have a reference. I definitely want her and Alicia.

Trypt, when a provider asks for a reference, they mean from another provider, not a monger.
She demands her level of verification for her own protection. If you're not willing to meet it, then you should consider another provider.
What problem have you had getting verified by one the veri-sites? (P4 or DC)
Anytime they ask for work number, all they do is call the switchboard to ask for you, then hang up as soon as you answer. If the switchboard asks, they claim to be from a doctors office or something. What's the big deal?

Interesting because I once asked an indie the samething: if we could meet for coffee and I'd still pay for the time but the person didt go for it. I'd show my license and entire wallet contents at a coffee place but I am loathe to provide any info to a website database.

At least once a day. But the problem is that it proves nothing, and is still dangerous for the provider. If you were someone planning to rape, rob, kidnap, kill, me, you wouldn't be dumb enough to do it in a public place. You'd wait until you've lulled me into a false sense of security, and we were alone. A lot of those kinds of guys are very charming, it's how they're often able to do the things they do.
If you're Uncle Leo, you'll arrest me as soon as we meet whether I've incriminated myself or not. They let the the worry about whether or not there's enough evidence to prosecute. If I was dumb enough to have anything incriminating on me at the time of the arrest, eg condoms, work phone, etc, they'll use that as evidence of my intent to commit a crime. Even if the case is thrown out, I've still been arrested, had to bail myself out, wasted hours in jail waiting for bail, and more time wasted in court. In addition, now Uncle Leo knows my real name, and address, so they can start a proper investigation.
From my point of view, it simply isn't worth the risk, there are plenty of guys out there who have no problem providing the information I need to ensure the safety of my girls, and myself.

By now it is easy to figure where I stand on screening, my personal info is just that. It's my personal info. When banks, retailers and government agencies can be hacked for info a providers computer is not going to be a challenge. I realize our SS number won't be on the providers computer but our name and work number, unless self employed, is. Just one over zealous reporter trying to make their name can cause a lot of grief. Forget LE, ask the guys waiting for the other shoe to drop who took zumba "classes" when names etc are released and published and the TV crew is in their driveway.
On the other hand there's a lot of freakin' whackos out there that providers need to avoid, they feel screening is the way to do so.
We aren't going to change their business model, they aren't going to change ours, or at least mine. Don't like the game rules you don't have to play on that court, there are others.
You know what? Darn good points. I hadn considere psycho scenarios; only LE ones. And you are probably right about the Way the LE scenarios might play out. Some of this I did not know and I regret nyx revealing stuff. I suppose "I've got good reAsons which I can't divulge" or even "thems the rules if you don't like them go elsewhere nobodys forcingu" would be good enough answers tht any of us ought to respect. In fact nyx provided a polite version of the "thems the rules" answer and that was good enough for me but since someone mentioned the coffee thing (and I was naie enough to think hardly anyone would ever suggest this!) I found it interestin (again naively unaware that yes nyx and others have thought this thru and it doesn't suit or address their safety needs) I'm grateful forthe explanation (thank you, Nyx) while also lamentin the revealing of trade secrets in case some low lifes use info to then somehow one up or dupe a provider.
Similarly I have cringed slightly when posters call be. S. On a fAke advertisement and then mention various red flags. Aside from discussing tineye type searches it might be wise to simply call be. S. And not reveal why. This way LE or pimps or unscrupulous people don't become educated in what constitutes a red flag and thereby eventually learn to creat more perfect deceptions puttin mongers or anyone at risk. Perhaps folks could share more sophisticated detection red flags via PM.
I'm not accusing anyone. This is just a thought but without judgemet asto any who have or might in the future give admittedly helpful explanations regardin how they knew a post was be. S.
While I'm posting on more thin on yet a third topic.

To finish my previous post one more thing regarding precautions and be. S. Posts: I generally do not trust any reports from newbies even if there are no red flags. I just don't know if its a sting or some kind of dubious situation or setup.

Not to clutter with posts but I do want to say IMHO this post summarizes the main jist of both sides of the issue extremely well and succinctly and comes to what I think is an extremely sensible and respectful conclusion (oi mean the posters stance on the matter). Frickin well said.

Anyone have any good things to say about Boston Tiffany that posted today? Was thinking of giving her a call.
Anyone have any good things to say about Boston Tiffany that posted today? Was thinking of giving her a call.
She is the real deal.
Charming, witty and an awesome provider.
Have a great time!
Been around a long time. Stay off the circut for discretion. Right.
However, I'm not smart. I've been set up twice and got hammered. Not LE but nuts.
The first was in my apt in Boston (a rental for a pied a terre that ended badly and broke me up). So, what does a man like us do? I hookup with this hot hispanic chic and somehow let her move in for the weekend (I was going to be away). Well she moved in alright. With everything! Her whole life. And when I tell her this is no good she tells me that she's not going and I better keep paying and she has pictures and movies (computer cam) of us. Fucking nightmare. A couple grand in lawyers (thanks Austin) and a couple to get her to bug out and it was over. Not before she did end up calling my wife (I found out a year later).
The next one was scarier. I answered an ad of CL and it looked TGTBT. But I went for it anyway. I drive to a town center and wait for the apartment number. Next email I get is this:
"Well ____ (my real name) I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is I'm not a cop. The bad news is I'm not the girl. I'm someone who knows everything about you (goes on to list name, address, business number, etc.)" I ended up paying over a grand at a drop. Shaking all the way. Terrified me out of the hobby. My guess it was an unemployed computer expert who hit rough times and had a moral objection to the hobby. I actually forgive the guy and appreciate the scared straight day from hell.
So, my brothers. Beware. Fucking crazies out there.
