Using a burner (or Google voice, etc) is pretty much a requirement for hobbying in the US in my opinion for a variety of reasons, but there are a lot of bad guys out there that rape or rob girls and there's no protection against them since those same bad guys can just get a new burner. I think screening orgs like P411 are one good solution for it. But encouraging people to circumvent screening isn't helping the situation, in my opinion.
