Just my opinion.

Nowhere in that post did I advocate taking advantage of somebody. What I said was junkies are going to make the money. You guys are advocating taking away one of the few ways they can make that money without violence. What you are advocating will without question worsen their destructive behavior so please explain how that will help society?
If the day ever comes where the US decides to implement a sane drug policy I will be leading the cheers. I do not, nor have I ever said that I think junkies turning tricks is a good thing. I think it's a sad thing, I also think it's better than the alternatives they have now which is little. Are there enough detoxes in Indiana to handle all of the people who are caught in this cycle? What about beds in treatment centers? What programs are there in place to handle this epidemic? Do you spend time doing outreach? I used to distribute bleach kits when I lived up there and hand out information for people that were looking to do something about the problem they had. I've been closely involved in this for decades.
Personally I live in a country where prostitution isn't against the law. We have VERY few junkies here involved in the business because they simply can't compete. Because it's legal we have around 30,000 sex workers in Buenos Aires, most of them pretty hot. What the junkies do here is steal peoples cell phones by shooting mace in their faces then swarming on them in packs to take their stuff. If they resist they generally stab them. It's not heroin, the drug here is called paco. If you feel that you are taking advantage of unfortunate people then I would suggest you examine your behavior instead of implying that I am or advocate that because I am certain I am not.
