I went there the first or second day they were open and I thought it was going to be another version of MW. Went in ask for an hour and half way through the girl asked if I wanted Mr bizness taken care of then she started giving prices "I do it for $$.

See, this is something I learned from Tina (Fuji / Therapeutic Spa) back in the day. If they ask for $ to perform the ending then they have done something illegal. That is why she (Fuji) would do the ending and hope for a tip. She told me if she ever gave a ending to say Uncle LEO she would not be in trouble because she didn't ask for $ instead she would state "you paid for massage" I guess that is how she stayed in business so long without trouble. Although the last time I saw her (over four years ago) she wasn't doing HJ's anymore.

So there is a possibility that health massage was giving a quiet warning to go away. Too bad, because I like low key underground places like that rather it's in an office or home.

Just my thoughts fellas.

I said hell ya. Ha she asked for money right then. Hmm when I broke out standard fee she said, no, 20 more. I laughed and said no I will just leave. We haggled and I ask ok you ask for money 1st, how much for daty. I did not think she would go for it. She says 200. Ha I negotiated down to 100 and had fun. But I did not like ask for money up front. Not surprised they got shut down. Oh well. Back to lansing. Ha.

That place also had paper thin walls. You could hear entire conversations from the business next door like they were standing there next to you. Not sure why they closed, or if that had anything to do with it. I kind of had a gut feeling it wouldn't last. Oh well, sigh.

Tried it out today. Ok massage and average experience. Nothing to really write about. I told her the places I needed worked on and she complied but wasn't enthusiastic about pleasing me. I always get the mean lady there. I don't have the heart to say can I get the other lady to massage me. The other lady looks more friendly but never had any experience with her. They don't really give you choice to say who you want.

If you decide to visit this "new" (and probably old) massage place, please leave your descriptions brief and the details in your imagination. Tip info and if it is the girls from the old Health Massage would be great info to include. I just think it would be nice if we could keep one around a little longer this time.

My guess is that it is the one that disappeared from Portage a month ago.

I may just have to visit them for a good massage later in the month when I have time.

Just thought some of you may want to know.

Just to let why'all know, I confirmed that it is the same girls with the same services but in a different location. Look in past posts for service cost and information. (I paid for an hour and the same amount for a tip). It is much better than Massage Works but not as many options as the "regular" AMPs like TLC.

My favorite therapist is Cindy, but then I haven't had a massage with the other girl.

The location is on Shaver Road, a few miles south of Centre, and in a small "strip mall. " It is between a hair salon, which takes cuts by appointments, and a place still for rent. As of yesterday, there was no sign for Health Massage on the place, but the address number is above the door and noticeable. The former business was a natural health foods and massage place.

Parking is very noticeable from Shaver, and no one was in it while I was there. You may choose to park in a neighboring business' parking lot for less visibility.

Well worth a visit. No need to give detailed descriptions of your visits. It has already been done, and if you enjoy reading about your adventures on the internet, then kindly take up blogging.

And requested me to not post anything so I didn't after my visit at new location.

Cindy- Best Massage Therapist I've Had- Straight Massage. Recommend her highly- worth asking for- Sent by Jimmy. The other younger girl, not so good. These are hard workin women, just trying to make it- Give them a Break Guys. Be Cool & Discreet. Don't Attract Neighborhood Attention. They could be complained about here too, by the neighborhood, just based on appearances. They offer Great Above Board Service. Enjoy! JJ.

I went to the portage spa and saw two different girls than are at the new place on shaver rd. The girls at portage were both middle-aged (late 30's early 40's). I got the better looking of the two, and got a good massage. At shaver, the one seem to be in her 50's and the other seem to be in her 20's. I got the younger one, and it was not a good massage at all! At the end I had to make her quit because it was becoming very painful. She goes to hard and two fast!! Not sure if I will go back unless there is better choice of massage therapists.

I know there was a second girl at Romence who was younger, but I never saw her, so if this younger one is different, then that may be so.

Their ads are very similar in the way their typed out! But of course your mileage may vary!
