Interesting new (potential) option
But have considered it a low-enough risk not to worry about. Unless there's a situation where LE is investigating a violent crime, the odds of someone going to the store to pull the video to see who purchased a phone, then tracking the individual by face must be close to zero.
Yes, you could have the misfortune of seeing someone right before someone else attacks her, and the investigators hunt you down as a "person of interest," but they're more likely to see who shows up on hotel security video, and track to down the last person who called her phone.
It has some interesting features and sounds like an (IOS and Android) app custom made for ultra-privacy and this hobby!

Full disclosure, I just saw this article today and I haven't checked out this app. So I'm just bringing it to everyone's attention without any kind of endorsement.
Copy the pic URL and paste it into the Google search box, then search by image. This tool alone will help you weed out at least 75% of the fakes, such as Jordan.
You should also search phone numbers on USASG. The search function on this site can be confusing, so here are the instructions:
Click on Advanced Search on the upper right. Then, click Search Single Content Type, select Search Type Posts, enter your keyword, then go down to the bottom of the page, and select Show Search Results as Reports.
And yes, it's not only OK to post links to ads, it should be mandatory. On the other hand, you tried to name the oThER board, which showed up as a bunch of asterisks in your post. Jackson, who owns this site, prefers that members not directly name or link to his competitors.
I bow to you oh Master! Thank for the most useful instructions! Understood about the other board, will not insult our generous host again. What I believe is truly unique about this site is that it caters to NOVA, yes? I found other sites that focus on other cities, but none of those were exclusive to NOVA.
Thanks again,

To the Honorable Bunker Buster
Dear Glorious Leader,
I know I should be researching but I have an extremely important and urgent question. Should I use my real name when contacting a Provider? I am not married and have no girlfriend so those are not issues. I figured the Provider would want to perform verification so I thought using my personal cell phone and my real name would be ok. However, I am now questioning the wiseness of that decision. The reason I ask is, if I did do that, should I immediately go into damage control mode, and if so, what should I do? I suddenly feel panicky.
Thanks Again,

9 out of 10 Pictures Are FAKE? WTF?
Ok, I had made a list of 10 Providers on Backpage I wanted to contact, I have a thing for petite blondes, can't resist them. Using the image search that Bunker Buster posted, I discovered that 9 out of the 10 listings were Stolen Pictures. WTF? You've got to be kidding! That means the NORMAL modus operandi is Bait and Switch! Really? Seriously? How can this be? That means the *majority* of the listings cannot be trusted! Is that correct? I am going to keep track of the phone numbers that use stolen pictures so I never, ever, contact them. Don't the posters know other clients will do the same thing? My head (the big one) is spinning right now. What sort of business is this? Sheesh!
Exp69.
(Not my real name. Hmmmm, am I doing it too?)
Glorious Leader? What am I, Kim Jong Un's cousin?

Exp
I think the other contributors have answered this question well, and I'll second most of their recommendations. Never, ever, ever, ever, give out your real name, use your personal phone, or use a credit card for services or phone / airtime purchase. If someone needs "verification," find someone else who doesn't.
As a rule, don't do outcalls, and don't give anyone your address. I might host in my home once every other year, but only for low-volume indies I'm comfortable with, and I pick them up then drive on the back roads and bring them in the side door, so they don't quite know where I live.
Since you're not married, you can be a little less careful with your batphone. Still, it's best to ditch it and get a new one after 6 months or a year, in case the number has shown up in more than a few phones that have been confiscated and searched.
Since you already gave out your name and number, the best thing to do is probably nothing. Don't call or see that provider again, and let your information recede into the past. You could ask her to delete your information, but there's no guarantee she'll do it, and your request might only encourage her to hold onto it for future usefulness.
Does anyone have a better idea?
Sorry BB, Meant no Offense

Does anyone have a better idea?
Just trying to be humorous, BB, I did not intend to offend you.
Turns out I am somewhat ok, the two reviews on one site did not get posted due to errors or bad protocol (e. G, No shows aren't posted) and I'm trying to retrack the two on the other site. So far, all of the Providers I contacted have requested verifiable information. I gave all 4 my real name. Aaarrrggghhh! The problem is when one goes many months without being with a woman, your eyes start to glaze over, and your big head drifts into a fuzzy state and the only thing it can hear is your little head, and you start doing strange and risky things, things you've never done before, things you regret doing later.
Actually, I think I will invite (hire?) the Provider over, and ask her to delete my old phone and use my new phone. She already knows where I live, and my name, I can't do anything about that. Fortunately, it was a pleasant experience. As far as the others, I could cancel my existing cell phone and get a new number. Opinions anyone?
So nobody commented on Agencies. Safe, not safe? In safe? Out not safe?
Wish I had found this site earlier. Many thanks for all the good advice, guys, I do appreciate it.

Where did you get the idea you offended me?

Exp69
I thought my Kim Jong Un reply was pretty funny.
As to your latest damage-control idea, I think you're only going to dig yourself in deeper. Bringing someone to your home to tell her you want her to "lose" your personal info will only give her the idea that you're somehow vulnerable, and is an invitation for her to snoop around for something to use against you.
