I drove 45 minutes, texted with her right up to the minute I arrived, and then crickets. That was six years ago.

We've had some stellar dates since then, but reliability isn't the hallmark of anyone I've found in this business.

Even among some of my favorites a last minute letdown, endless delays and excuses or just plain silence can happen and price point doesn't seem to make any difference.

The more it happens the less inclined I am to try to set something up again, but some are just so much fun you put up with the quirks. Des probably falls into that group.

Nonetheless, there are always new hills to climb, so if they become too much of a PITA, move on to try and find that one that won't disappoint.

She is definitely more difficult to get a hold of but every meeting with her has been fantastic.
