Massage Parlor Reports

First of all thanks for all of the intel fellow mongers and a special shout out to Horsetrader. I checked out the Mist and it was all good based on the current situation in D.C. JoAnn hooked me up. Basic D.C. price of .70 door fee with the 1.00 tip. JoAnn was quick on the table shower but made up during the actual massage. Prices are a little better in some of the San Diego spots so if you ever visit hit me up. The only downer was JoAnn asked for the tip upfront. Wasn't thrilled with that but it worked out for the good.

Unless you have a trust relationship with the provider tipping 1st should not be a problem for 1st time visitors. After all there are too many jerks who have taken advantage of girls who did not get their tip up front and delivered service only to NOT receive the agreed upon tip or any tip.

She assumes the greater risk in this hobby. We should be understanding.

I hear you on the tipping but it does cut both ways. It worked for me as a first time visitor there but I've also had it work the other way. Tipped up front and service sucked big time. There's risk on both sides but the last time I checked I provide my tip after the service because a tip is supposed to be based on service. I do agree though that there are jerks on both sides. I see your point but I think other mongers see my point as well. I just provided info on my experience. Peace

I prefer to tip afterwards as well and for providers I have established trust relationships with this is never a problem. But it does not bother me to be asked before if this is my 1st time with a therapist.

You have a slight risk in not getting what you expect, but if she is asking for the tip upfront, you negociated with her on the level of service, so you know what to expect. If she does not deliver the agreed upon service, yes your money maybe wasted. That has never happened to me in 20+years of this hobby. Not once have I negociated a tip for FS and not received, nor BJ etc. The quality may have been disappointing, but they have always delivered the service agreed upon.

She on the other hand may deliver the level of service and never get paid or paid fairly for what she provided, this happens FAR more frequently then a girl not delivering what was agreed on at a MP. Her risk also includes possibly LE trouble.

In a AMP you pay the door fee, then you pay a free for FS, HJ or whatever you're getting to the provider. Anything above and beyond that fee is considered the tip by me. I know FS is 100 if its outstanding tip on top of that, if it's no good don't use that provider again write a bad review so everyone else can stay away as well. This is exactly why some of the good ones wanted money upfront they feel they're entitled to the 100 anything above that is a bonus. This is just my 2-cent not trying to make a big debate.

If they are real keepers and went beyond the call of duty, a few times an additional tip was warranted. When I come back the performance is always off the chart.

Visit 1: Mist

Up the spiral staircase and to the non-descript door. I chime. MMS answered and welcomed me into the somewhat dark space. She asked if I had visited before and I said no. She left me in the room to wait just a few seconds until Joanne (or was it Julia?) knocked. Close hug, house fee paid, she lead me to the table shower. The shower room was okay. The shower was complete and stimulating. Back to the room, I noticed right away the high ceiling. The building is old and the fourth floor hasn't been remodeled. On the table she starts a light touch. And I enjoyed the brief teasing she initiates. There's a mouth at my ear. A whisper. And I retrieve the $ tip. I make myself comfortable as she steps out. Up until now, the session is like clockwork. Then the door opens. Closes and most importantly I hear a distinct click of the lock. She returns with an electricity. Her dress/skirt does not do her body justice. But her frenetic mood evokes a memorable feeling. Closing with pleasing massage and a long and sly embrace.

Visit 2: Sky

An Elevator to a humorously tiny doorway landing and I am facing another doorbell. Pretty Korean Yumi opens the door and leads me down to a room. She asks for the $70 fee. My first impression is "low ceiling" but as I pay closer attention I realize that this is the nicest of the 5 or 6 spas I have ever visited. Everything looks new. And clean. And cared for. Shower is playful and relaxing. In the room, light touch. My hands show my interest and with $ she says the magic words "I'll be back baby. " Back at the table, she's comfortable and gives a light kiss. Something between a peck and a kiss. The first of many light kisses. Otherwise, I sense a bit of a script and her efforts are not working. So she drops the recipe and lets me enjoy her company. Again we close with a nice massage and a lovely satisfying hug.

Visit 3: Sky

Up until I reached Dupont on this day. I hadn't decided yet between Mist and Sky. The session at Mist was notably great; but the facility at Sky was tops. My decision came down to where I parked and their facility. Sky again. April, with a very hot body, greeted me at the door. She took my hand and I followed into the designated room. Same fee. In the shower she lathered me well and I exited even more sparkling than when I entered. Again, same light touch, my hands show the same keen interest. She leaves and then returns. Immediately I recognize the formula. Perhaps April and Yumi went to the same school. Except. Oh. Well that is interesting. Interesting at first but a bit annoying eventually. And it's not her fault. I start to wish I choose Mist instead. But April's body is incredible, maybe worth the cost of admission alone. I guess I'm easy to please. Closing with a short massage and unique shoe technique.

Visit 4: Mist

The past three visits each brought something new. Last visit opens with MMS answering and putting me in the same room as last time. "Hmm, a little smaller than I remember. Same nice high ceiling" A knock and she, I forgot to ask her name. Arrives; again gorgeous. Shower is playful. Back in the room, I am hopeful she takes the same approach as Joanne from the first visit. At first, yes. Same light touch. "Everything". She slips out. Unfortunately she follows her formula most strictly. A beautiful dancer who doesn't trust her partner to move in the appropriate direction. I understand why. But at the moment it disappointed. Worst however is there was no closing massage. I suspect it was a busy day. Sigh.

So at this point I'm pretty even between Mist and Sky. Both have beautiful women who more often than not follow a script. Sky has a nicer facility overall and an elevator. But the high ceilings at Mist gives the place a less clinical ambiance.

Peace[/QUOTE]I see your point; what I don't see is why you're calling it a tip. A tip is additional money on top of money you've paid as a fee. You pay mama $70, then that's out the way. That has nothing to do with what you and your provider discuss and agree upon behind closed doors. That's a fee, and that's mandatory, as she's surely not expected to provided such services for free. Remember, a tip by definition is optional. Asking for the 'fee' up front is quite reasonable.

Like others have stated, I have never asked and paid for FS then not gotten FS. That would be a cause for concern, but I have never heard of that happening. Maybe she didn't perform with the level and enthusiasm you hoped for, but that's never a guarantee. She still performed and that's worthy of the fee.

Gentleman it's all good that I generated a little response but for the record I don't disagree with any of the comments. My travels on the west coast have resulted in more times then not my fee being paid after the service has been provided. I totally understand the game and I always adjust to the situation so for me the bottom line is respect the rules of engagement and go with the flow. Again I'll be back and thanks for the intel fellow mongers.

I used to live in D.C up until 2008 , but now I moved to Florida and man do I miss the D.C scene . I used to visit all the spas in D.C ( specially Bebe from Sun ) and I am very familiar with the mamasan of shell ( former Rio ) . But here's my dillema . I have made 3 trips back to Maryland and D.C , one in February , one in March , and one in May - And everytime I visited shell , the mamasan always turned me away saying that all the girls are busy and that if I came back later she would take care of me with a nice girl . But everytime I went back she told the same thing again . Do you guys get the same response from her ? . I'm planning to go back to D.C again and this time I want to see If I can finaly try out shell , I've had absolutely no luck getting in because mamasan always starts feeding me some lines . She always tells me that she has only 2 girls available and that all of them are booked . She knows me from Rio , I always had fun there back in 2006 so I don't know why she always tells me this when I visit her . What's going on ?

For some reason, she is having a hard time keeping girls there. If you know her, she will give you her cell number, and you can set it up. It is worth the trip.

Gingerman, what time of day was it?

If she turns you away in the early afternoon then maybe her memory of Rio is not as pleasant as yours.
