They are way too pricey, even in the couch area. Have gotten a hand job in that area at the 25 per song rate, most of the time just a good grind. They used to try to get 400 to go to the spaceship and I figured they would try to upsell even higher once up there, I never went. Had one quote me 800 out of the club. The older Asian lady that has been on day shift for years, she often wears the fury boots once quoted me well over $1000. Clearly these ladies have GPS. Once I found DM and some independents in town I pretty much stopped going to 2001 other than to maybe get my motor running before heading somewhere else for fun. There was one time on a slow day I had an insanely hot blonde (same one that one that quoted me 800 out of club) take me to the upstairs area. She said one of the cubicles had a camera that did not work and gave me a real quick fuck right there. Don't recall the price, I think $200. I do remember she had the warmest kitty I have ever felt, still clearly remember that warm pussy. A great memory. That said, I would not pay their prices and I suspect most of the time you won't get what you think.

But that was several years ago at this point. Much more recently but further away, the Inner Room on Cocoa Beach (just a few miles south of the Lido I think this guy was referring to) is, or at least was, renowned for offering $10 laps. But, its been awhile since I've been there and when I was the inflationary pressures were becoming evident with many girls at least asking for more (though not always holding out). I'm not sure what the story is there now, especially with all the changes that the pandemic and related closures have wreaked on the industry. Maybe someone with more recent experience can correct me.

If the dancer broke out in a billy joel song at the barside the polite thing to do is to give her $20 / song. And these aren't short versions, I like to play 7 minute songs. The bar side dances are a little more reserved now, but not by much.
Stopped by Mons Venus for the normal evening of $25 dances, which I normally enjoy just because the girls are so hot! However, they have added some 'private' rooms with a drape and I was told they no longer do dances on the couches, but instead only in the draped rooms, at $50 per song! Songs at Mons are normally very short, like maybe 3-5 min (never actually timed them but they normally end well before the song is done). So OUCH, $50 just takes all the fun out of Mons. Hope they will reconsider because maybe that was why there were VERY few guys there. Lots of Pretty girls, but not many customers, probably due to the new pricing. I will try again sometime later to see if that has changed, but if not, my favorite Tampa club will get marked off my list.

If that the case kind of too soon to do that. $30 per song seems to be the standard in this (I haven't been to all clubs, but a fair amount and based on my comment on that). As for escrt go, does Tampa (I am asking when Tampa hosted it before), were there more escorts or higher pricing or both?

As if it that will produce increased revenue rather than just further exacerbating the ongoing problem.
I don't know but I suspect clubs like the Mons may be suffering the most of all. Everyone is hurting because of pandemic-induced closures. To the degree some have reopened, I suspect business is still off because either some former patrons are not quite ready to test the risk of covid exposure inside clubs or may be tight for cash due to their own employment set backs (then again what else do we have to spend money on right now?).
But clubs like the Mons have yet another factor to contend with. Even before the pandemic, their ridiculously high cover, expensive dance prices and limited action due the openness of their dance couches made them more of a place to go for high rolling out-of-town visitors who know only of the Mons fame, than a place to go for more knowing locals. Don't get me wrong. I'm not about to start passing around the collection plate for Joe Redner, but with those out-of-town visitors now mostly gone, places like Mons must be especially hurting.
Draping off seating for dances could be a step in the right direction if the added privacy translates to getting a little more action with the dances. But not if it also serves as an excuse to raise the already high dance prices by 100%. After all, how much more can the dancers do behind the curtain with just 3 minutes per song. To do anything worthwhile it takes at least a couple of songs and how many guys are going to be willing to drop $100 for probably just at best a 6 minute handjob.

When I moved here, the evening shift always seem to have a cover. 2001 has a cover for the day shift (I go in, but wasn't go to pay a cover for daytime). Without getting political debate about anything, I am surprised that dancers aren't becoming more like an escort. I am sure some have, but like to charge what they get in the clubs (I have post that some clubs dancers have gotten $$ Can they file for unemployment (assuming that they pay taxes. We all know that most don't pay taxes, but some do). I have a few reasons for not going to a strip club currently. I might go back in 2021 (After Super Bowl). Actually, I'd thought that nightclubs had to be close unless serving food.

I was disappointed that Ybor went up to $25 but I guess it's all relative.
Took a younger taller girl up on 2 dances for $60, A real Dud and Bossy as hell about no touching the buthole and clit so she claimed harassment and walked out.
