Hi All, just wanted to get some opinions on what's the best prepaid phone to use for hobbying. Sorry if it's been discussed already, the search function wasn't returning good results.
Thanks,
HD.

HD.
I use the text free web app from Pinger. You can have as many numbers as you have email accounts. You can do text and voice, minutes are easy to get. 1. 99 for 100 minutes 20 for 1000, or you can watch videos for two minutes a pop. I like it because I can use the text part from a computer when I'm hunting instead of having to do it on the phone all the time.
I have three accounts I use. One for research to find out the rate, location and get a sense of the attitude on unrated providers, One for contacting the providers I'm actually going to see and the other I give to my UTRs and go to girls, I tell them its my private number just for them. (not that they care, but it seems to get me some extra attention at times).

HD.
I prefer to keep my burner completely separate from my personal phone. If you have an app on your phone it can be tiresome turning on and off push notifications and deleting and redownloading it constantly if you have a SO that sometimes picks up your phone. I don't like to have to worry about covering my tracks like that, just an additional stress I don't need.
I bought a cheap burner Tracfone flip phone for 10 bucks at Walmart. You get double minutes with the cheapie flip phone. You can add minutes with a card (by the phones in Walmart) I buy 60 minutes for like 20 bucks and it gives you 120 minutes and 90 days of service. All my provider contacts are stored in there. I never bring the phone home, it stays in my desk at work. I always pay cash for the time cards and for the purchase of the phone so it is untraceable. In the event of something going really wrong it would be easy to snap it in half and flush it or throw it off a bridge. 30 bucks to get started for the phone and service is cheap insurance for annonimity.
Yes indeed, that is the best option IMHO. The only thing I do different is that I get the one year prepaid card so I don't have to reload so often.
Otherwise follow all those instructions carefully.
Never turn on phone at home or work.
Make sure it's not a smartphone as they are more traceable.
Keep all your monger contacts in burner and NOT on real phone.
Pay CASH always.
Put password on burner.
Add other bogus contacts to mix it in with provider numbers.
NO pics ever. NO personal info ever.
Don't bring it in to date. Leave at car.
Use public phone to register the Tracfone and when asked for a recovery number just make one up.
Something fishy? Crush it and move on.

I am looking for a few so that I can decide if a prescription is worth it. Can anyone help or push me in the right direction? PM's are fine.
Appreciate all the burner phone / app advice, a lot of good information to consider.
Appreciate all the burner phone / app advice, a lot of good information to consider.
The only problem with the really cheap phones. Is the texting capability.
I pretty much "ONLY" text when setting up the arrangement.
The cheap phones don't have a keyboard that you can easily text. I found it incredibly frustrating, to the point where upgraded to a better phone.
Texting on these cheap phones is "dark ages" - you have to do it using the numbers (incredibly frustrating!
Texting rather than calling reduces the initial risk while still in setup mode for the arrangement (prior to all the details having been confirmed).

What model phone did you find with full keyboard??
I'm currently struggling with my keyboard and I'm looking for one that has a full qwerty keyboard while still staying away from smartphone.
Maybe I'm being too cautious but based on the way they went after providers and mongers with RICO charges las time I'm taking all precautions.
Hold up. RICO? When was this?
Those agency busts around New Years. The customers were charged not only with solicitation but also RICO for "contributing to an ongoing criminal enterprise". Personally, I don't think it'll stick as it's hard to argue you're running a criminal organization when you're the customer but it just shows you, along with the agency owners being charged with human trafficking, just how hard they're going after the people in this industry.
Seems like you're diluting the true intent of those types of indictments, namely to go after the real scumbags of the world when you apply it to people who aren't hurting a soul but that's just the hypocritical and corrupt nature of our government, I suppose.
We really need to start electing more libertarians to office, they don't give a fuck what you do.

I will take my regular phone. If by chance there is a "situation" with uncle LEO, my plan is to play dumb and say a buddy told me to come to the room and drop something off. I'm sure it won't work but at least there won't be proof of messages.
