I bet the girls you photograph are pleasantly surprised with the end result, assuming you catch up with them to show them the final product. I would expect that once they know how well they look in the end, word could get around to the other girls making either repeat photo sessions or new models (or new pairings) easier to set up. I have no doubt this forms a part of your street cred that you've developed over time with these ladies.
Does it make them harder to spot for other mongers? Yeah, probably. But after watching your work over time I haven't gotten the sense that you're making a documentary, or just trying to show "gritty reality" (though that came up at least a few times with $10-spot photo locations). Instead, I have the impression you have an overall positive attitude towards women in general, and because of that you want to show these girls in the best possible light to highlight their strengths. I know I have a regular who probably looks somewhat rough on the street, but cleans up incredibly well and my mind doesn't let me see the few flaws here & there.
What's more, great makeup, outfits, locations, and lighting all cater to your desire to make excellent photographs. Unless you have a degradation fetish to feed (by way of those "raw reality" type shoots), it's natural for you to compare your work to other photographers who take advantage of every aspect of the image to create great-looking work. So I see where there's a personal need you're fulfilling by helping your models look as good as they possibly can. Besides, no way someone would keep up the body of work you have for over 10 years without feeding their own need with it somehow.
I don't live in Philly, but I'm probably within range to make a visit sometime. But I'm not a guy you'd be helping find a particular girl on a particular stroll. Even in my own town, with other mongers who've posted pics of girls, the cheap & dirty ones taken with a cell phone are most useful for putting a name to a face. But they don't really help you find the girl.
The guy tells you where he saw her, maybe what time of day or what she was wearing. But clothes change, times the girl needs to be out to get her meds changes, maybe her stroll changes as her living situation moves around. Nothing seems to help finding the girl on the street except being out on the street. (Maybe 2 months ago, I told guys my exact location & time of day when I saw at least 15 different girls within a 3-4 block stretch. Girls were coming out of the woodwork! And others kept posting how that same stretch was dead, before, during, and after the day I was out there. Which just proves you gotta be on the street to find the girls on the street.)
My opinion is the most valuable photos for identifying a girl on the street are the ones that show which girls to avoid at all costs!
I think your goals with your photos, and perhaps your own personal needs from them, are best served with the way you're doing the pics now. Let another monger step up to get the quick & dirty street version for drive-by I'd. You have plenty of fans (whether you know it or not) who appreciate the way you elevate these ladies in your work.

That is something I could have always done. In fact, it's something I've done to a certain extent. In the past, I would begin each photo session photographing the girl in her clothing, removing one article of clothing at a time. I would explain to the girl that the reason for the fully clothed pictures was so that guys would be able to recognize them walking by. No one was going to recognize her from a naked picture, unless she walked the streets naked. However, even in these fully clothed photos I would encourage the girl to remove her hoodie, comb her hair and apply any makeup that she had.
Katie 37 is about as close as I come to posting a before picture.
Here is the problem, as I see it. From the very beginning I developed a kind of sales pitch that I use. As I drive away after the pickup, I start telling her about my photographic prerequisites. During our conversation, I disclose everything. Up until now, to the best of my knowledge I have kept my word. Before and after pictures are not mentioned in our spoken contract. In order for me to post a before and after set of pictures, I would need to explain to the girl beforehand, the what fors and whys.
If it got back to the girls that I was posting unflattering before pictures, without their knowledge, I would have to answer for it. So I don't do it. There are a lot of things that I could do, but don't do out of self respect.

Of course, I also found that the things you told guys (maybe when they wanted to know exactly where you scooped some girl) were spot-on true. Doesn't matter I'm in a different city.
That day I'm talking about, seeing 15 girls, I was really waiting on a call back for a date with my regular. So I pulled up to a nearby stroll, cause I didn't want to wait right outside her place & have her feeling like I was stalking her. I had a bunch of car cleaning stuff on hand, you know to wipe down the interior, seats & windows. I figured while I'm waiting I can clean my car, see if I see anything interesting, and if any cop or neighborhood watch wants to bother me then what can they say? Is it a crime to clean my car?
I saw more chicks out then I've ever seen driving down the stroll! Granted, I was there for a few hours (I took my time and thoroughly cleaned [B]everything[/B]). I had women walking up to me asking if I wanted a date. Probably turned down 7 or 8 of them, and had another 3 or 4 walk by & give me The Stare to let me know they were available. Wound up talking with a couple girls who were bummed that the few guys driving through that time of day looked by never stopped. Bought them a soda & a bag of chips each, and felt like I'd made friends for life! And told them straight up, "I'm sorry. I would, but I'm waiting for my regular to hit me back. ".
Ironically, I had some car trouble when trying to leave, and one of those girls flagged down one of her regulars, who bailed me out. So yeah, I don't know you & can't say I know exactly where you're coming from. . . But I think I understand. If I said anything in a way you can re-use to good effect later, knock yourself out!

Yes, most of them do get to see their pictures. Some manage to find the site themselves, they are not dummies. Others are shown the site by a friend or regular. And yes, when I can, I will show them their pictures. I usually pick out the best, few girls like to see nudes - that's a man thing.
Plus, on numerous occasions the girls will go out of their way to say how much fun they had. They are talking about the photo session, where they got the opportunity to play act and be something more than a street worker. It was obvious to me that Katie, from the way she knew her away around the outfit she was using for dress-up, was reliving better times. It's a one piece and not easy to figure out. She was very eager, for reasons of her own, to pose and offer suggestions. Sure it is mostly about the money and her needs, but that aside I could tell she was having fun. It's common sense, considering what most girl's day is like, waiting on a corner, in the cold for the opportunity to suck off some stranger in a car, for $20.
Trust me, they do show their appreciation.
And! The more I do, the more I have to do. When she stepped out of the bathroom, wearing that outfit, I barely recognized her. Even though I've photographed her 7,8 or maybe ten time before, I barely recognized her. And! The outfit she is wearing is the same worn by Vicki. We could debate for hours who looked best wearing it. However, there is no debating who took it home and hand washed it in a mild dish detergent. After all, the last thing I want is for a girl to get a hint of the previous wearer. So now I'm doing their f'ing laundry!

But any little thing you do for the girl that's out of the ordinary and that she gets is a glimpse of genuine kindness, they remember that and it pays off! I did 2 dates with a girl at least 8 months ago who remembered me because I'd listened to her & gave her a good back rub. Saw her again not long ago, and she remembered. Donation was whatever the standard was for her, but any time I took or service requested was granted.
The good ones respond to good treatment, sadly because they probably get so little in the way of being treated nicely.
I fully understand you thinking on the issue. You put in the leg work and I would not want you to risk your good name. It was just a thought on my part and I would have accepted your response without the attached photo.

So I took a cruse down broad yesterday and today. Mostly dead at least the time time I passed threw around 12 ish. Seriously though few observations. If your trying to get picked up and get our attention. Don't do it while your in the center of a group of 5 guys. Example girls there and within 10 to 15 ft max distance there is 5 guys you know aren't waiting for a bus giving you the stare down as she is trying to get your attention some. Yeah not going to stop to much risk there. I mean I get they want to feel safe out there but seriously. If any of them was her handler I guess they forgot the concept of shadowing.
As for Cookie asking about Stacy in the past weeks I haven't seen her when I was out. Only one I see and don't know her name is a dark haired SW with a purple or dark pink highlight in her hair. Normally closer the the bridge and the historic sign wall. Other then that seems to be dead when I pass threw during the day or just bad timing on my end.
I picked up Katie a little off Bway last night. Nice looking brunette compared to all of the other out there. Can use more weight but not stick skinny. Told me she used to be on a sports org dance team. Katie's about 5'3" with a pretty smile. I found that Cookie Jar did a photo shoot of her. With the extra weight then she was probably one of the best looking SWs on Bway. I took her to get something hot to drink and got to know her a little. Nice girl.
