He serves delicious, fresh, high-quality seafood in generous portions, much better than La Perla and the 2 stands on Coahuila.
Half dozen raw oyster, clam or cockles on the shelves, 75 pesos or about $3. 80.
Shrimp coctele mediano 90 pesos or $5, a globe full of large fresh shrimp in salsa, lime juice and hot sauce.
3 fish tacos for 90 pesos or about $1.50 a piece, large fresh deep-fried fish with salsa and cheese sauce; 3 shrimp tacos for 120 pesos or $2 each, large fresh shrimp.
He has a small fridge of cold local beers, like Tecate. We bring our own favorite beers and just tip him. You can sit at tables on the sidewalk with a gaggle of street girls waiting nearby, or inside the now-closed Kentucky Fried Chicken. We usually come here to use the restroom right after arriving in TJ, then have some fresh seafood snacks before hitting the bars. Recommended.

Drove down with 2 noobs 4 PM Friday afternoon. Last couple weeks traffic has been heavy in the afternoon, even in midday Sunday, between camp Pendleton and Carlsbad, costing an extra hour. I know that when most bros hit Tijuana and the clubs it's for the escorts but can anyone recommend which spot is best for the strip club experience. If you all were to go with no intention of getting laid where would you go for the best show and dances?

You are right. Mexico is open for international flights. Land border crossings are still restricted to essential travel until May 21, but there are no restriction in car lanes into Mexico and only selective enforcement in pedestrian line against people who look rich, and vulnerable. They would put people into a waiting room, inconvenience and sweat them out until they pay $30 bribe for the alleged FMM.
By Sunday May 22 restriction should have been lifted. You should be able to cross unimpeded. If any Mexican worker inconvenience you, make sure he / she knows you are taking names, recording facts and reporting crimes to their bosses. They would be shaken and let you off.
You can also buy Mexican insurance, drive over and park in Libra at the East end of the alley. Mexican imm will not check cars and the drive is easy, only about a mile from the border. Car return lanes may be about 1 hour late at night. Cannot drive cars through Sentri lanes unless they are registered with CBP.
Let me know when and hw long you will be in town. I may be going down with a couple guys next Sunday and would be fun to have a few drinks.

Mexico remains open to USA Travelers this winter. While the USA -Mexico land border continues to be closed to non-essential travel through at least April 21, air travel between the two countries resumed months ago, and airlines have since been ramping up their schedules to offer more flights to the country's most popular tourist areas, including the Mexican Caribbean, Los Cabos and Riviera Nayarit, among others. Americans will still need a passport to travel to Mexico but do not require a negative COVID-19 test result to gain entry.

Went down last Sunday day trip with 2 other bros, had a couple rounds of good food, sat drinking in HK, watching sports, strip shows and a couple dozens hot girls flittering by.

That implies there is no ficha quota required of the girls, or it may be a guideline and HK only enforces it selectively.
HK's management will have to come up with new strategies to maximise profit for the club. They are not shy about experimenting with prices and services. Perhaps HK should reduce prices of beers, liquors and fichas. A lot of guys would feel being ripped off and they won't spend. A lower price structure would gain more loyalty from clients.
For a while HK was pushing th elap dance, $21 for 3 songs in a tiny Miami cubicle. Most guys would just laugh it off and never partake. Perhaps $10 for 3 songs with $8 going to the girls would create some demand. Otherwise guys would just buy a ficha for $9 and get a public grinding and groping in the club for 10- 15 minutes, which is a lot more fun and much better value.
