I've been wondering for a while with the new apartments, condos, and the new Walmart store soon to open when LE would start to shut the AAA down. Last night they were doing just that. There were police everywhere. They had the street blocked at one point with a couple of undercover vehicles and an officer with a digital camera was snapping pictures of every car's license plate that got stuck in the mix.

Also saw 5 or 6 girls being harrassed by LE on both sides of Aurora. I guess the cops did something similiar a couple of weeks ago. This was about 11:30 last night, so nothing really had a chance to get going.

Yeah I rolled through the AAA right around then and saw the camera-happy cops. They seemed to be taking a lot of face pictures so I made sure to roll by really slowly and let them take as many pictures as they wanted. What do they think they're going to do with them? Not sure if it was more funny or embarassing. Aside from the issue that flash photography in the faces of drivers exposes the city to a lawsuit if someone got ran over because a driver was temporarily blinded, this just means the police are out of ideas. What's next, cops holding signs saying "Stop doing bad things!"

One effect of the pressure on the AAA/Hostess stroll has been to move a number of younger BSW north on Aurora to the 125th to 145th range. Usually pressure in the AAA/Hostess area also moves WSW south to Georgetown/East Marginal. I haven't noticed that, so I suspect a new stroll is opening or an old one reviving. Any observations?

Carnutfool, I think you'll find that Star has put on a lot of miles since your last visit, and "selective" is not a word I would use for her. "Stoned" is a lot closer; it's hard to get her attention. The reason being is that the new law is merely smoke and mirrors. They didn't actually change existing law a bit. They have always impounded the cars of anyone arrested while driving, whether it be a suspended license, a warrant for shoplifting, or propositioning a decoy SW. It used to cost about $250 to get your car out of impound, now it costs $500.

So really all they did is switch a few words around and double the penalty. You still have to be arrested for prostitution and the only way is to offer money for sex before the girl gets in the car. Everyone except a few Hispanics know not to do that. So the law is in effect, useless. It's a scare tactic nothing more.

Oftentimes if they won't get in your car it's because they know that LE is watching them. If a couple in a row don't get in, this might be the case.

Also, since AAA is rife with pimps, most won't get in the car if you're black or drive a pimp type vehicle. I was driving a 78 Riviera one night and they wouldn't even look my way. Also, if you look like LE you might have problems, short hair clean shaven.

It could really be any number of things, just keep trying.

The only thing I have to add is that it's always a good idea to spend some time on the street--Park and get out of the car, look around, see what's cooking. Also, it is always a bad idea to pull up next to a girl. Too obvious. Drive by slowly, then pull around a corner or into a lot and let her approach you.

I agree, parking and walking around is great way gather intel. Especially if you suspect the cops are cracking down. The big advantage of walking around is that it makes it easier to spot cops that are hiding.

Well on an average weekend, there are the church ladies walking around as well as hundreds of club goers. There never seems to be any problems except the pimps harrassing the girls and the cops giving the pimps a free pass.

Also, even driving around the AAA is dangerous. LE is recording license plates, snapping pictures of John's cars, and on the watch for someone making multiple passes. Walking might be a good way to circumvent the cops.

I decided to cruise 99 from Shoreline down to about 105th to see if there were any girls out. This was around 2 until about 3:30pm. First pass southbound saw nothing. Maybe they don't have Stars number. I know I've dated her, but since I'm into SW's and enjoy the hunt, I rarely collect phone numbers. Besides, with SW the numbers are rarely good for more than a few days at best. That being said, it's always nice to get a thank you when passing on a number.

I've shared info with Seattle Tom, he's a pretty okay guy as are pretty much all the folks on this board. I've passed info to him and he's returned the favor. Hobbyist401K is not very conversational when he asks for info, but once you start up a dialogue with him he'll share any info which is unique from yours. True, it'd be nice if he shared on the board, but in my experience he's quite willing to share once you engage him.

This board is low-drama and guys mainly come in to post the facts about their experiences. If you are expecting a swap of information, you probably just have to set the expectation. Myself, I share with anyone who's known and in the process I might occasionally ask if they know what's new out there. Other than that I don't ever really expect a return.

Well a whole 4 days passed between when you sent me her number and when you posted this - as it turns out some of us aren't on the board every day. Usually if you feel like you're being jilted a PM to the member is a better way to go than splashing their name all over the board.

If you look through the posts you'll see alot of "digits for seniors" at the end - senior members tend to pass numbers around without requiring anything in return. As Civ mentioned the number might go dead 5 seconds after you send it to someone so there's not alot of expectation that you're going to necessarily hook up with the girl. Resa is one of the worst dates ever. She is in her late 30's (around 38 these days, if I'm doing my math), and she will always try to stall or stop the French conversation -- or just run her fucking mouth until you give up and lose interest. She is actually smart and claims to be formally educated, but she just uses all her wits to try to swindle her tricks out of scratch for her next crack hit. I would never ever hit a woman, but the way she tries to rip guys off on a simple car date with all her bullshit, it doesn't surprise me that a dude with less restraint would...

Guys who have shown to be cool. When I come across a unique girl, I will post where I found her and then you can go look.
