Cops should be stopping real crimes. Murder rape child abuse etc. What two grown people do behind closed doors imo shouldn't be left up to a government body. I feel the same way about drugs. I don't do drugs but I don't see the point in being so harsh on non violent offenders. Our tax dollars are funding all this that's the sad part.

I wonder how many of these charges actually stick. If nothing illegal is said via phone or in person and they just sit there with their mouth shut I truly wonder just what if any charges they actually get. Also isn't it just a 4th degree misdemeanor? For the cilent I mean like the lowest possible crime out there? I mean what you spent 2 maybe 4 hours in general population and then get slapped with a fine for a first offence?

Anyone on here actually been busted and brave enough to share their story? I'd love to know.

My thought is that they add the cell phone criminal tools charge because it is a more "serious" crime than just soliciting sex. I believe a criminal tools charge is a 1st degree misdemeanor while the soliciting charge is a 3rd degree misdemeanor. The tools charge could result in 180 days in jail while a soliciting charge could be 60 days. There also could be a greater fine involved. By adding the extra charge they give the court more leverage to get the person to cop a plea. They know most of those arrested will take a plea bargain to get the tools charge dropped. But I'm no attorney.

I would like to hear about a case in Dayton where a lady or guy took a misdemeanor prostitution charge to trial.

If a provider was recently involved in a sting and doesn't get charged like in Vandalia, recommend be careful with seeing that provider for some time-especially if they reach out to you. May have cut a deal to help catch others if they aren't charged. Be safe and smart out there!

What happens if a criminal tool charge will be dropped later at the court? They must lose a basis of confiscation, if they act legally.

After moving down to this part of the state, from and. E. Ohio, two years ago, I have come to the conclusion about a lot of things here: the people, their reactions of what bad weather actually is, attitudes, and the news stations. After growing up watching WYKC, Channel 2 in Cleveland, and then coming down here and watching these absolute amateurs, I would be actually embarrassed for the reporting that they provide for the area. Talking with the hands, flamboyant men on the camera, and the inability to do proper camera work, as was mentioned beforehand. I'd feel ashamed if I was a long time resident here.

Most of the reporters moved here from somewhere else, few of them are actually from here. Maybe they should be ashamed of themselves but I am not ashamed because of them. We life long residents didn't ask for all of the "immigrants" that show in our area and if they don't like it here, maybe they should go back to where they came from.
