Never saw AA, but she was a trouble starter. Heard she passed away.
Wow... TJR, there's one I haven't heard in *ages*. There sure was a lot of drama there, though. Remember AA? :)
I was always skeptical about TJR and AA. Double A appeared to be one wild child. Her final posts and ads were pretty balls out bold, I don't know what she was thinking. I hope the rumor about her demise isn't true.
I could never get a handle on whether it was a scam. I remember at the end Jones asking for $1, 000 money orders and then the site imploded. I was referred to the TJR by a then well know provider who has since retired. I never learned what her connection was, although at one point she worked for Nick at Michelle's. I rememebr the sense of outrage when TJR members learned that he was looking at the TJR boards. Maybe he was behind it all along.
Good times!

Not many here know anything about TJR. Next thing you know you will be reminiscing about Foxy Lady, LOL.
Would that be Mr. Bob Fox? How about Rose Laws (pre internet days)? Sorry to have hijacked this forum with mammories of days past.

Absolutely, that was the place to call. Hell, I remember when crazy Diana advertised in the Reader in the early 90s. Not to mention my obscenely inebriated days at The Dreamway Lounge.
I noticed this on BP

A quick Google search dug up a couple other postings, including some on the now dead CL. A more in depth search turned up additional information about the owner of the phone number, name (male), etc. A search of that name turned up a Facebook account that lists "The Beat Cop's Guide to Chicago Eats" among his "likes".
What do you guys think of this ad? LE?

Anyone know what ever happened to Amanda and Lisa from Pure Gold? Heard Amanda moved up to Minnesota. Spent alot of time outside the club with both of them. Heck there are plenty of women that worked at those places that now would be demanding 2-3 times the price on the escort market. Ran into a few of them at Fannies Greenery after Cicero shut all of them down. I was in college at the time so the $60-$100 to go in the back at Dreamway was super affordable. Now for the same you can find some strung out streetwalkers. Who would have thought this is what it would be like after they were gone.
Dreamway, "Your Show of Shows", I remember it well. Generic Cola, Man with Shotgun behind the Bar, mattresses and card chairs in the back. Place was awesome for 1st timers. Took many a friend there for their first time.

I originally read about Belvidere on nntp newsgroups.
Those were the days my friend,
We thought they'd never end,
we'd sing and dance for ever and a day!
We'd live the life we choose,
we'd fight and never loose.
for we were young and sure to have our way.
One good reason to cut the younger guys some slack.
Philosophical follow up:
How much do you tell your kids?
Things are so different today, my son will never experience the freedom and frivolity that I enjoyed growing up. We are a long way from the 60s and even the 80s. If I tell them too much it will add to their feeling that they have been cheated, especially now that the american dream is such a mess.
My apologies since this has absolutely nothing to do with Backpage reviews.
Jackson maybe we should start an old farts topic? Call it Front Porch or Rec Room.

Hey Chicagox.com is why im a monger today. They had some great talent on that website. Thats also why I orginally started hitting the AMP scene. Back then the AMPS treated you like a king. Those days are long gone. The service we get today is crap. The closest I got to back then was Lee Lee from Ruby Spa but shes gone now. Oh glory days.
I just was turned on to this site from a provider and am so glad I was. I was so sick of another site so this is a breath of fresh air. What a great site! I look forward to hopefully being able to contribute in the near future.

Anyone? Not a looker but the price is right for a lesson.
Just heard on the news that they are going after Backpage now.
I guess not enough crime on the street to focus on.
