Massage Parlor Reports

There were no Asian spas in Gainesville until spring 2014 but an average of two new ones have opened per year since then. I thought I would sum up where we are now. For complete contact info you might look at the USG advertiser Rub Maps. By the way, many of the reviews this is based on were posted before I retired from my old profession changing oil.

Just massage.

Ming Tree (12th Street): Been there three times. Very good massage; recommend for that.

Angel Spa (NW 16th Blvd): Been a couple of times. OK sessions.

YMMV.

Asian Massage (3000 block NW 13th St): The oldest AMP. Service varies. Every now and then they seem to bring someone in with a more-open menu just to generate new favorable reviews. But DIY at best for my recent visits.

Lotus Massage (NW 39th Ave): The newest AMP. Early experiences happy, later ones not even DIY. Too soon to tell where they will go?

This is why we keep going.

Lucky Asian Massage (NW 23rd Ave): The ladies rotate between here and some other spots in the region (at least one in Ocala) so you never know who you will get. Usually doesn't matter because they are all pretty good at what they do. I found early evening is the best time to hit here.

Tokyo Massage (SW 4th St downtown): Probably the youngest gals in town and the fullest menu (but not as full as Orlando AMPs). I like to go in the evening after all the techies in the Innovation District have gone home for the day. A little hard to find in the dark but well worth it.

Massage Masters (800 Block NW 13th St): Just opened October 2018 and there have been a number of good reports. The shower is a bit odd but you do get a good wash. Decent massage as well.

Best Asian Massage (W Newberry Rd): Been here since 2016 and I have always received good massage with a lot of teasing. It had been DIY only but that has changed recently.

Of course, all this is just idle dreaming and just one person's opinion. Comments and PM are more than welcome. If you don't like me posting this summary, just look at my user name.

When I mention DIY I mean the lady is right there teasing you while you are strokin. They are like that on 13th and used to be like that at Newberry Rd. I returned to Tokyo after several months of sampling other establishments. I was greeted by Joyce and instantly noted her cutoff shorts would allow easy access, paid. 6 for the house and followed her back. The Brevard and Martin county boards on this forum have some discussions of the most recent AMP busts in S Florida. Police planted hidden cameras in the rooms, among other things, probably Stingrays to establish cell phone presence and cameras in the parking lots. If anyone has had any recent experiences here, please let us know.

It was very detailed about what went on at the AMP that Kraft was at. I learned a couple of outstanding facts that I did not know about AMPs down there:

1.) The AMP was getting only about one customer an hour over the days they were watching.

2.) The two ladies arrested had reported income of only 6500 and 4500 last year.

I still feel bad about the two ladies arrested that only made 11 k combined last year. With that they could hardly afford the insurance on their Mercedes.
