I think back now to some of the stalwarts -- Elise, Svetlana, Nina Rox, Rebecca Love, Lola Lomasi, Scarlett Dinardo, Shelby, and especially Gina, come immediately to mind -- who, among many others, graced our town in decades past and held the bar high. It's a good reminder to recognize and continue supporting the stalwarts who've been here with us many years and who continue to do so. While we don't have the big city variety Denver does, we are fortunate to have some lovely local ladies who've stayed the long course reliably and sanely and who deserve more props than they perhaps receive. I haven't tried Lucy and don't know whether I will, but I'm sure our fellow readers will appreciate your very reliable second opinion it you do decide to. Likewise with Staci.

Had another quick visit with Cassie yesterday. Don't know if it was an off-day, the wear of her life showing more, or something else; but she didn't have quite the same attitude, skill, or appearance as a few weeks ago. This is why we say NEVER pay first. Even if you don't get scammed, you normalize a risky process. Yes, you'll miss a few dates. My (totally WAG) impression is that roughly half the providers who walk rather than get paid at the end were trying to scam your money (ROB). I've "seen" two recently. The other half are just rigid in their "rules" and probably weren't the best dates because of that any way. Yes, this is admiteddly just a "gut feel. ".

AFTER they receive money, even if they complete the date, they have NO incentive for good service, good attitude, etc.

I think you'll find a lot of consensus among the more experienced hobbyists about this. And, yes, there are exceptions to every rule, and (a few) wonderful unicorn providers out there that prove me wrong.
