A provider can see anyone or no one they like. I see guys on her mad that EP requires 2 references and Kathy advertising/not taking black customers etc. It's their life and business. I don't do business with every customer I talk to in my line of business. Why should they!!!

I've talked to different providers around the world and they all have different folks they don't like to service because they have had a bad experiance with their type in the past. In Germany it's the Turks that some don't like. I've talked to more than one provider who will not deal with black guys because they have been beat/robbed by them.

Is this politically correct! NO!
However, neither is an escort service etc.

Kathy told me long time ago why she did not take black guys as a customer. It made sense to me.

Plus being a good ole boy who had their Great Grand Father fighting for the South it gives my Red Neck some satisfaction. LOL

What you stated about Kathy and CL is the same thing some of us had said to her in person, email and over the phone. This was prior to her mother passing.

On to a lesson I learned a while back - you can't make everyone happy. Don't sweat it sweetie!

All guys have in their mind how they *think* they would operate (apparently some of them know what it is to be a provider because they are hobbyists), what they *think* they wouldn't do, what they *think* they would do and more. And the thing is, these mindsets differ from person to person - each of them have their own scenario and preferences. You'll NEVER be able to conform to ALL of their preferences so don't worry about it. You do what YOU feel is best for YOU - that's all you can do.

Your guys will still come see you and support you. The rest of them - well maybe them getting weeded out wasn't so bad after all!

Like Blackhawk said, I get plenty of flack for my screening process - oh well, it's MY screening process and that's that! I also get flack for being "chatty" sometimes here on the board...oh well - I'm chatty and this is the darn Internet!

But I STILL have a HUGE percentage of gents that have no problem with either one and continue to be awesome friends!....as I'm sure you do and will!

Don't make apologies for being YOU and doing things the way they work best for YOU...YOU have that prerogative and probably have good reason for doing things the way you do.

It's back to the old adage that "you can't please everyone". The same adage is alive and well in this business.

Your post missed the main reason for my concern with Kathy. I think most of us here are worried about her large amount of local advertising she has started doing. She is THE BEST PROVIDER I have ever seen. But, being from out of town she may not be fully aware of all the stings going on here. And her screening is not even close to what yours is. It's according to how you wer raised! i like a girtl with standards! It was a joke! I served with and was commanded by black, brown, yellow etc while in the service, I judge a man/woman on their actions and no other way. However, by the time these women have a chance to judge they have been beat up or had their money stolen.

Kathy is not the only one by far not to see black customer or foreign sounding men. It's their comfort level they have to live with not yours. Yhis isn't equal rights. Just like you read some ladies don't like to take young men.

To be honest, I didn't even pay attention much to who said what - I just paid attention to what was being said and the fact that people were having issues with what, or the way, she was doing something.

I understand your point - definitely. NOBODY wants to be on that list BUT like I said - there is ALWAYS going to be people who aren't happy about something you're doing or the way you do something. You can't please everyone and there's no reason to stress yourself out trying to.

Yes, LE has a huge presence here...and Kathy if you want some screening tips - PM me (LOL at all the guys going 'uh oh').

But it also kills me that guys think they know so much about a provider's position. I understand that you can pretty much figure out a lot of how it works on our end but there are some things that guys will just never get - period.

I would really like to address the point of advertising and where but I can't - that's putting too much of 'my' business out there so I'll just say providers usually do what they do for a reason - may not seem like a good reason to someone else but you have to do things your own way for your own reasons.

And there will be people who choose not to see you for whatever reason but for everyone 1 of them, there will be 100 more who are fine with it.

....and no I don't take this crap personal. If I did, ya'll would really have me stressed out LOL. I actually have a lot of fun here.
