Seva is right again as usual. It's no secret that LE reads this board and that we have to decide ourselves how much is too much. Also, LE is not totally stupid either. It's a matter of their priorities.

It's no secret that Dayton Vice is being asked to do more with less. Read the papers. The fact they do does hurt them because they can then be told why do you need more if you can increase your arrest rate with less. It's a double edged sword that's being held over them.

Also, a good beat cop does know what's going on in their patrol area. If they are aware of their surroundings, they know what's happening. The thing that is on our side is what is the political environment of the moment. Is it a state of siege against us and our SW companions or is it, "I'm going to look the other way because the devil you know is better than the one you don't." Are the citizens getting into an uproar like on Xenia Ave or North Dixie?

I also remember that there were actually 3 massage parlor's on Dixie. Two down by Little York and one closer to the Traffic Circle. Those were good days back then and they lasted a while until the citizenry decided it was time for them to go away.

At least two no-tell hotels have been closed for being a nuisance based on citizens complaining about the amount of bad traffic they bring. You can bet that the remaining ones are watching and know they may be next as well. Because the SW will have to have somewhere to go, they will migrate to the remaining ones and then at one point or another, those will be closed as well.
They are being picked off one by one.

North Dixie has been waking up for the past few years and the citizenry has been becoming more and more vocal about the adult businesses on their strip and the ones that have opened/closed or are open now.

So with or without this board, things will change. It's not always about us posting information though I personally feel that too much information is a bad thing. It's all about the times and how they are a changing as people say they don't want certain things happening in their neighborhood.

With the economic downturn and there being fewer LE as a result one would think they would need to spend more time on the homicide cases and real crime prevention as opposed to hassling the hookers. Unfortunately that won't happen because getting a hooker is much easier and, with the fines involved, more profitable.

Ok, they closed one more no tell hotel and now you have another empty building on the strip. In support of AMPs, they are usually very unobtrusive and not a blight to the neighborhood. Business is conducted inside and nobody bothers anybody else. Also, I know that in years past when I was a regular visitor of the club (what ws the name of that place) that was in the basement of the Denture Clinic) I would sometimes stop locally and buy gas or get a bite to eat, hence supporting the local businesses. Also with that type of adult establishment with all business inside you would not hear the mythical stories of little Johnny bringing home the comdom/balloon for Mommy to blow up. I wish there was an AMP in my neighborhood so that I didn't have to drive so danged far. Was the last AMP closing in Dayton the one on Needmore about a half mile west of Dixie? Talk about unobtrusive, it sat there by itself and I don't even remember whether it had any signs.

Regarding Sw's, I have on different occassions cruised and have had zero luck. Once I thot I was getting close cause I smelled what I thot was pussy but I was only passing a Long John Silvers

But then they keep saying as you grow older memory is the second thing to go. I forget what's first.

I believe it was called "Seekers" if memory serves.

No, no, the Swim Club was just North of Needmore on the East side of the street behind a transmission place. I never went there but always wanted to. Last I heard of it was when it was being picketed by some church group. The other club (the one of which I speak) was on Dixie and Wagner Ford on the West side of the circle. And it was a fine place!!!

One is right on Salem ave, north of Good Sam hospital.

The other is off a side st (Avondale, I thnk) off Troy st.

Both are decent and i have been the one off Troy street a few times and had lots of fun.

I knew it as the Rainbow Spa; there never was a sign and I remember even the street number was hard to spot. I ended up in an office park the first time I tried to go.

I remember that place.

The one on Needmore would have been the K & G Spa. It got raided and closed a while ago.

Dayton Swim and Social Club closed because the owner stopped. It wasn't closed because of a church group picketing it.

Club One is the swingers club on Avondale off Troy St.3

The other one in Dayton is Club Temptations on Salem Ave.

There is one in Middletown, several in Cincinnati and several in Columbus.

The prices for single men are steep and you shouldn't plan on hooking up the first time or two there because you're not known. Once you're known, it's a different story entirely.

I am still looking for my first real experience to report on. My first try was a disaster and I got ripped off. I hope It does not happen again but anyways I have a kind of unusual question. Most SW won't party with you unless they know you. Also, they will expect to be compensated for their time.

Where are you going to be hanging out with them drinking/partying? Personally, I would be very concerned if it was a SW I had just met. Especially when you don't know what "habits" they may be bringing with them.

More than likely I would suggest an escort if you're looking for an 8 or a 9 who can handle herself in social situations. That would also be expensive unless you worked something out with her before hand.
